After executing a leap of faith from the eagle point in Aqarqaf Dunes, I landed in a restricted cavern pit. I assassinated a lone guard before using a throwing knife to detonate an explosive barrel, where two bandits were killed. I finished off four remaining bandits, though an accidental barrel drop set me on fire.
Standing atop the eagle point peak at Aqarqaf Dunes, I left Basim perched high above the desert, realizing I had never taken the leap of faith to complete the synchronization. I triggered the viewpoint once more to ensure my progress was saved before diving into the open air.
With the prefect leap of faith, I landed straight down into a straw-filled pit hidden inside a restricted cavern below. I noticed there was no way to climb back up.
Stepping out of the pit, I followed a dark subterranean path deeper into the cave system. A lone bandit stood guard along my path, so I crept up behind him and executed a quiet assassination before he could raise an alarm.
Moving forward, I spotted what initially appeared to be three hostiles, but a closer count revealed four bandits patrolling a tight corridor.
Noticing an explosive red barrel positioned near two of the guards, I waited for a third to walk away, then drew a throwing knife and struck the container. The explosion ripped through the cavern, killing two bandits instantly.
The surviving two rushed toward the noise in confusion, leaving them wide open for my special ability to eliminate both in rapid succession.
Two additional bandits rushed in from a connected tunnel to investigate the blast and discovered the bodies. Before they could react, I triggered a chain assassination, springing forward to drive my hidden blade through both targets.
With the immediate area cleared, I picked up an explosive barrel from nearby to break through a rubble wall blocking the forward path.
As I prepared to throw the heavy container, I accidentally dropped it, igniting the fuse early and catching myself in the splash of the flames. Though nothing bad happened to me. I still had to look for a way to get out of there, hoping there won't be any more enemies on my way.
Until next time, happy gaming.
