Clearing the Damascus prison section by section, I executed stealth kills and chain assassinations from the roofs to the courtyards. After taking a bundle of keys from an air-assassinated heavy brute, I began freeing the prisoners to satisfy the special request, quickly silencing any guards who caught us escaping.
I reached what looked like the highest ground of this prison, hoping there would be more guards around, but I didn't find anyone there. So I just climbed down a little where I noticed more guards patrolling nearby.
I reached closer to them and knew I had to be careful because they were guarding positions very close to each other, and I didn't want to alert one while assassinating another.
I took down a guard while another one walked away after coming close. Once the path was clear, I went for the second guard and assassinated him quietly.
There was another guard just ahead, so I took him down using a stealth chain assassination with a throwing knife, before instantly retrieving my knife from his dead body right away.
I decided to get to the roof next, where I noticed two guards patrolling around. Right after reaching the rooftop, I assassinated the first one, who was an archer.
Then I sneakily moved toward the other guard, a big brute, and assassinated him quietly as well.
I was basically clearing the whole prison by taking down all the guards around here so it would be easier for my next approach.
I noticed one of the heavy brutes below was carrying a key to something, so he immediately came into my focus. As he went along his patrol route, I went for an air assassination and ended his life right away, picking up a bundle of keys from his dead body.
However, another guard on the far side caught a brief glimpse of me, forcing me to take cover. Before he could become a real threat, I decided to deal with him proactively.
I waited for him to walk toward my position so I could take him down quietly without alerting anyone else. Right as I planned, he came closer, and I took the chance to assassinate him.
Before going after the state official, I decided to free the prisoners first, knowing I might fail the special request otherwise. Moving deeper inside the prison, I found more guards and kept assassinating them one by one.
It was making my job so much easier, and it was honestly a lot of fun. I started freeing the prisoners, beginning with the first cell.
But right after I unlocked it, a prison guard came over and caught us escaping, so we had to take him down real fast. Another guard arrived right behind him, but I assassinated him before he even had a chance to shout or alert anyone else.
