It’s now September, and here where I live it’s the rainy season, it often rains in the months leading up to the end of the year. Last night the sky was pretty clear and bright, so I took a few pictures of the moon up there. Today there’s no sign of rain, but the moon is clearly visible from down here.

I’m not a photographer, but I really enjoy taking pictures of anything I like and find interesting, especially when I see something that shines, like the sun and the moon. I don’t know why, but both of them really fascinate me. Tonight, the moon is moving slowly, casting a fairly bright glow. It looked very small from here, so I zoomed in a few times to see its texture more clearly, even though my camera isn’t as good as a telescope, this was enough.

Looking at its uneven texture, I wonder how many millions of impacts the moon has endured up there to produce such beauty. Things like this amaze me—who knows how many secrets lie hidden up there? What matters is that tonight, I’m captivated by the moon in the sky.
