Maya used to see her puppy as just a normal pet, that kept her company, but after he saved her, she began to see her puppy as a hero.
Maya, a young woman, lived alone. Because she loved puppies, she decided to get one. She loved her puppy so much, and they always played together. Whenever she went to the store, the puppy followed her, but she chased him back home and closed the gate. When she returned, he would be so happy to welcome her. Maya treated her puppy like a close friend. In fact, he was her close friend. Whenever she stepped out, the puppy would always be waiting for her to come back. And when she came back, he would come jumping around her so happily. He does that all the time. Maya would sit outside with him and play for a long time when she was feeling tired. Maya had neighbors, and whenever she went out, she greeted them as she passed by. One evening, Maya was hungry, and there was no food at home. So she decided to go to the market that evening to get some food to cook for herself and her puppy. Maya was hungry and in a hurry to cook. After finishing some other work, she decided to go to the market to get the things she needed. As she was leaving, her puppy followed her, but she didn't mind. She opened the gate in a hurry and forgot to close it. At first, the puppy didn't realize the gate was open. After Maya had gone to the market, the puppy noticed the open gate and went outside to look for her. Maya got a lot of food, enough to last her for a few months. On her way back, two men who were planning to rob her and take her things began following her. There was nobody around at the time. When she realized they were following her, she started walking faster. As she approached, her puppy was also coming toward her. At that moment, the two men grabbed her and took her things. They also asked her for money. Maya had some money with her. When they tried to take it, she shouted, but nobody was there to help her. When the puppy heard her voice, he ran over because they were nearby. The two men tried to stone and attack the dog, but the puppy never gave up. He did his very best and bit one of the men. The man the puppy bit was the one holding the items, so he dropped them and ran away. The second man had no choice. He ran away too. Maya was very happy. When nobody else was there to help her, her puppy was there for her, and she was overwhelmed. When she reached home, she decided not to talk to anybody that day, but only to appreciate her puppy. Maya decided to sing for him. "Ohh ohh ohh... my puppy, my favorite friend... When I was scared... And needed someone... You were there. Ohh ohh ohh you were there to help me... Ohh ohh ohh... My puppy, my favorite friend... When I was scared... And needed someone... You were there, ohh ohh ohh you were there to help me..." When Maya's neighbor came and saw her singing, they asked her, "What happened? Why are you singing?" She decided not to talk to them, but she sang a song to them. "You guys should leave me ooo... You guys should leave me ooo... If not for my puppy... I could have been crying now... You guys should leave me... You guys should leave me ooo... If not for my puppy... I could have been crying now..." Maya sang the song for a long time. After that, she prepared a meal, cooked a big piece of meat, and gave it to her puppy. Her puppy was very happy and ate the meat. That evening, she was happy with her puppy. The following morning, Maya's neighbors came again to ask her what had happened. So Maya told them everything and explained how her puppy had saved her. The neighbors were very amazed. Maya smiled and held her puppy close. Then she remembered how she usually chased him back into the house whenever he wanted to follow her outside.
