Tessy and her classmates

103432.jpg

Good day everyone for this week I'm writing a story about tessy and her classmate in respect to these week prompt 'you weren't supposed to hear that.'

This is a fictional story about tessy and her classmate

TESSY

Tessy is a young and brilliant girl. She's the only daughter to her parents, and she used to school in the most profound school in their community. She's one of the best in her class, and her teachers love her. She is just so good hard every subject and whenever they go for competition should always make her school proud.

She has won so many award and she's still winning.

You know how a class used to comprise so many kinds of students. There are those ones that are the bullies, the lover boys and girls, and the quiet ones. That is how Tessy's class also is. Jimbo is the bully one. He used to bully every student in class, including Tessy, who is short.

JOHN

John is the quiet boy in the class, and so Jimbo and his colleagues used to bully him a lot. They would collect the money he brought to school. They have been doing this for a long time, and because John is quiet and does not want trouble, he wouldn't tell anybody because he felt if he tells somebody, Jimbo and his colleagues would bully him more and even beat him.

So, he has been keeping it a secret. Every time his parents give him money to spend in school by purchasing some food to eat, Jimbo and his colleagues would take it from him, and he would eat nothing in school until he goes back home.

Soon enough, he began experiencing an ulcer, and when his parents took him to the hospital, the doctor confirmed that it was an ulcer and it was because he had not been getting enough food lately.

The parents were surprised. In short, they asked John why the doctor was saying he had not been getting food lately, whereas they were always giving him food and money to buy food, even when he was going to school. He said he didn't know. He, too, did not want to expose that he had been bullied in school by Jimbo.

The news got to the school that John was at home suffering from an ulcer.

THE VISIT

The teacher then fixed a day so the whole class would go and visit John and greet him at home. So, they all went to John's house. They uplifted him and bought gifts for him.

Tessy was supposed to bring a package to John, but she forgot, so she had to come back the next day on her own to bring it to him. When she brought it, she took it to John, and he received it with gladness.

His parents went out briefly, so Tessy and John were having a little classmate conversation. John opened up to Tessy about how he got this ulcer, and she could easily relate to it because she had witnessed several times how Jimbo and his colleagues were bullying John.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT

When he was narrating it to her, it appeared that his mother was already home, but neither of them was aware of it. She was quietly listening to what he was saying.

A while after he was done explaining, she pretended as if she had just come in, and everywhere was silent.

In the evening, when her husband came back, she explained everything to him, and they both went to John and comforted him, telling him they already knew what was happening and asking why he chose to hide it from them all this while.

He told them he feared Jimbo and his colleagues would do something to him if he had told anyone because they had ruined him already.

THE PUNISHMENT

On hearing this, the parents were very furious, and they went straight to the school the next day. They were so angry, and the school management brought Jimbo up and called his parents.

The school management spoke to the parents of all those who had been bullying. The school management set Jimbo and his colleagues in the assembly ground and punished them, serving a warning to everyone who was bullying or thinking of bullying.

They apologised to John's parents and taxed Jimbo's parents a sum of money to properly treat John's condition.

THE END

After that heavy punishment, Jimbo and his colleagues never bullied anyone in that school again.

beat the living hell out of them

The conflict John experiences is described well in your story. We do, however, have an issue with the phrase, "beat the living hell out of them". While we know that corporal punishment is practiced in some families and schools, we have made a policy decision that we don't want that sort of violence highlighted in our curated stories. Perhaps you could change just that phrase and say something like, "punished severely". There is no explicit violence in that statement.

We will check back later and curate if the violence has been taken out of your story. Thank you for your cooperation.

John's silence cost him his health, and I'm glad his mother overheard and the truth came out. Beautiful story
