We’ve made bidding on PeakMonsters quicker to set up and easier to compare. There’s also a small shortcut you might not notice at first: hold the + button to work in max-level card quantities.
This post covers the latest interface upgrades and the bid and rental fixes from our previous update.
THE LITTLE LONG-PRESS SHORTCUT
A quick click on + still adds one BCX/CC. Hold it for a moment—just over half a second—and it does something more useful:
- Max BCX / Highest Level Card: sets the limit to that card’s max-level CC.
- Quantity / Total BCX: moves to the next full max-level CC multiple.
For a regular Chaos Legion Common that maxes at 400 CC, quantity moves from 1 → 400 → 800 → 1,200 with separate long presses. If you’re already at 500, the next long press takes you to 800.
The highest-level shortcut sets the limit to 400; it doesn’t add 400 to whatever is already there. If the total quantity is too small, it brings it up to cover one max-level card.
Here, the bid is set to $0.004 per CC, with 800 total CC and a highest-card limit of 400 CC.
The shortcut uses the correct requirements for the edition and foil. A Gold card or an older set can need a very different number of CC. In a rarity group with differing requirements, it uses the largest max-level CC in that group.
CC is what Splinterlands now calls card copies; you’ll still see BCX on some PeakMonsters labels. Total BCX is the total number of copies you want to buy, rather than the number of separate cards.
These shortcuts work in both the individual card bid form and the rarity bid form. Release and hold again to move to the next quantity. You still review, confirm and sign your bid.
COMPARE PRICES WITHOUT LEAVING THE BID FORM
The individual bid form now brings together up to two lowest sale prices and two highest matching bids, when available. It shows the level/CC limits alongside the price per CC and total.
Click a blue USD or DEC price per CC to put it into your bid’s price field and select that currency. Then use the price + to increase the current price by 1%, or − to lower it by 1%.
That makes it easier to start from an existing bid and adjust your offer, or use a sale price as a reference. USD comparison prices display four decimal places, while the price field retains the precision needed for small adjustments. Market prices in the screenshots will change over time.
RARITY BIDS: BURN VALUE AND FEWER CLICKS
The rarity form also has the long-press quantity shortcuts. The earlier update added clickable burn values, a percentage above burn next to the price, and remembered USD/DEC selection for new bids.
The regular Common row is configured for two max-level cards’ worth of CC. Other rows can be left unchanged.
Click the burn value to use it as a starting price, then adjust your offer. The rarity form’s price buttons step relative to burn value; the individual card form’s new price buttons adjust the current price by 1%.
A CLEARER ASSET MARKET
The Potions filter is now Consumables, matching Splinterlands terminology. It groups potions with items such as Phoenix Ash, Capacity Flux, Wagon Kits and unbinding scrolls. The same name and grouping apply to your owned Assets page.
Bid buttons now appear only where bidding is supported, and Buy buttons keep their position. Asset bid quantities also show the combined remaining quantity in parentheses when that data is available—for example, Qty: 10 (81) means 10 at the displayed bid and 81 across the eligible bids combined.

FIXES FROM THE PREVIOUS UPDATE
Alongside the new controls, we’ve addressed several older bid and rental issues:
- Editing a rarity bid updates the existing bid instead of creating a duplicate.
- If only part of a batch is signed, completed rows stay marked as sent and a retry sends only the unfinished rows.
- Changing a bid between Regular and Gold now keeps the foil correct, and edited bids no longer count twice against the allowance.
- Paused rental bids keep the correct status; removing a bid updates the page; multiple status filters work together.
- Open SPS rental bids can be selected and cancelled together, and cancelling one preserves other selections.
- Rarity Bid is accessible on mobile again, with improvements to the header and modal layout.
We’ve also corrected bid limits for cards with special foil and combining rules.
