Hace unos días en la Galería Guerrero de mi ciudad inauguraron una muestra pictórica de la Artista Ania Brito. Ella es una mujer creadora que incursiona en diferentes manifestaciones artísticas, tales como la música, la poesía, el cine, las artes visuales y otras. Su entrenamiento viene de los programas para aficionados de las Casas de Cultura. El resultado y la calidad de su pintura es parte de su talento, de su constancia en el aprendizaje forma autodidacta y de las clases con el pintor e Instructor de Arte Alexei Mendiola.
Conocí a Ania cuando coincidimos como colegas en la Casa de la Cultura. Ella era Instructora de literatura y yo de Artes Visuales. Tiene un espíritu muy inquieto y creador, que busca y expresa incesantemente en el alma humana y más específicamente en las tradiciones campesinas más tradicionales de la cultura popular cubana.
Sus personajes son los de nuestros campos. Sus colores tienen la calidez del paisaje cubano. Ella que ahora vive en un apartamento moderno mantiene viva y difunde la tradición campesina de su familia y el entorno donde creció.
Algo diferente son estos dibujos. Sus personajes dejan de habitar en los colores del trópico y muestran en los agraciados movimientos de las líneas negras el ritmo de la música que vive en la magia de nuestros días.

My dear Hivers! A few days ago, an exhibition of paintings by artist Ania Brito opened at the Guerrero Gallery in my city.
