New Renault 5 Turbo 3E | The Ultimate Hot Hatch?

There's always exciting things to see at the Festival of Speed, and this year has been no different. Check this out...The Renault 5 Turbo 3E!

Inspired by the 1980's Group B Rally Car - the 5 Turbo Maxi - the new 5 Turbo 3E is an exclusive, built by design homage to it. And with a starting price of £140,000 it's not going to be your average, everyday run around. Mind you, only 1,980 are being built, and out of that number, only 100 are allocated for the UK, so we expect them to get snapped up pretty quickly.

I like the design of the new Renault 5; the designers have managed to keep the spirit of the old model while bringing it up to date. I wasn't aware of this super powerful version, cool presentation.

Fun for those who can afford it, but I expect some cheaper EVs are fun at more realistic speeds. The petrol heads will hate it, but this is progress.
