Gracias, feliz noche

LOS POETAS SUELEN ENVIAR POEMAS

Los poetas suelen enviar poemas

a todas partes.

Pero la palabra es una utopía

que no sabe disimular

cuando nos atenaza lo cotidiano.

Al otro lado del mundo

se desgarra una montaña

tan grande como medio mundo.

Lo sé: aquí tiembla la tierra,

el bolsillo se desgarra otro poco

y allá le falta un brazo a mi país.

Un hombre ya no persigue amaneceres

ahora lanza terribles augurios

y palabras de piedras,

quizás como los poetas

que juegan a comerse

la utopía.

Los críticos hablan

del desastre del ego y otros actores;

Hello, Hivers! I’m sharing this short poem in the hope that you’ll give it a read. I’d be grateful for any information about my unicorn, like Silvio.

Thank you, and have a lovely evening!

POETS OFTEN SEND POEMS

Poets often send poems
everywhere.
But the word is a utopia
that cannot disguise itself
when the everyday has us in its grip.
On the other side of the world,
a mountain tears apart,
as vast as half the world.
I know: here the earth trembles,
the pocket tears a little more,
and there my country is missing an arm.

A man no longer chases dawns.
Now he casts terrible omens
and words of stone,
perhaps like the poets
who play at devouring
utopia.

The critics speak
of the disaster of the ego and other players;
of the mountain collapsing
and swallowing half a day.
My country’s other arm aches
as it embraces its children with its feet.
The scowling head dissociates, arguing
that dawn cannot be reached
by sight alone:
here and there, utopias have become
the ordinary
or hidden in the margins.
The temple of an exalted man
fades,
bereft of the human touch.

I remain in the utopia
of sending poems into space.

An intense poem that, in just a few words, reflects the reality of a world, a country, and an individual—as well as the need for poems that act as catalysts to continue emerging, appearing, and spreading. We must not lose hope; in the ongoing struggle for our daily bread—and all that this entails—we often overlook the fact that we need to safeguard our mental health and allow ourselves daily contact with art. Art becomes a utopia, a source of hope; it is what keeps us human. Thank you for sharing; I truly enjoyed reading your work.
