¡Well, I can't help it folks! ...it's my MeMe #374

For quite some time now, when I find myself in Hive scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling and scroooolling throughout all the place trying to find an article whose title and first sentences are attractive, captivating, intriguing and tempting enough as to invite me to click on one of them to continue reading what might be inside.

More and more I find myself that I can't help but having to fire up first a music playlist and put in loop in the background a heap of Psychedelic and Ambient tunes to be able to better tolerate the arduous and fruitless scrolling task in a futil search for some worthy content that actually invites me to click and please my fancy.

¿Could it be that the headlines aren't too tempting?

¡I tried, but no avail!

Fortunately, I still have my own feed with the content from the select authors I follow. Authors who regularly always publish something that's more or less of my interest and of consistently high quality. But who unfortunately, lately some of them have stopped posting and some others who even seem to have been infected by the homogenized trend of publishing drivel. What certainly has forced me to look for interesting and entertaining content in other spaces of our "social network" you see?

So, I scrolled everywhere. I scrolled deep down on the Trending page, the Hot page, the New page, the Payout page, the Muted page, Everywhere and nothing. Nothing that caught my attention and really prompted me to «click» on a post headline. Could it be that I have become too demanding about the content I want and would like to consume?

Or is it that the foolishness, nonsense and drivel being published on the platform these days took over and has already become too homogenized to arouse anyone's interest in consuming it?

Well, I think I've already resigned myself to the fact that from now on I'll have to select beforehand a good playlist with a heap of long and relaxing PsyAmbient tunes to put in the background every time I visit Hive, as to be able to have the enough patience to stay endlessly scrolling until I finally find something that catch my eye and worthy to click on it.

Because otherwise and if I get bored, I'm afraid I'll have to take a long vacation and step away from the Hive platform for a good while so that it doesn't affect my mood or my good sense of humor. Which, obviously and unfortunately, will also affect my "content curation" rewards. But what can we do? With Hive's current prices, it always would seem better to look after our mental and emotional health instead. ¿Don't you think?

And by the way, if you're wondering what kind of relaxing music I put on in the background while I perform that thankless scrolling task of try to find some content worth to click, consume, upvote and curate. Here below you will find a good sample. Enjoy the ride floating high!

The same happens to me sometimes. Mayhaps sub-stack shall quench thy thurst? Or may-haps, a nay"churs walk is thine spear-rit needs?
