I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge June 14th. Whenever I create a post in the #monomad community, I choose a new topic every time. In my last post, I captured wildlife in black and white. The community liked that post a lot. This time, I am creating a post based on my favorite subject of black and white photography, street photography. In today's post, I am presenting you with 10 photographs captured on the street in different ways. I hope you will like my post today.
The monument seen in the photographs above is the Monument Plein 1813 in the Netherlands. The 1813 Plain Monument is one of the most important historical monuments in the Netherlands. This beautiful monument is located in the city of The Hague. This monument was built to commemorate the restoration of Dutch independence in 1813. This monument is located in the middle of the 1813 Plain. Which is a large square in the Willemstad district of The Hague.
As can be seen in the first photograph above, there is a quiet scene in front of a large building. In which tall iron gates stand in a long row between the pillars. The building behind these gates looks grand and important. A young woman is standing near one of these pillars. This young woman is wearing casual clothes. She is also wearing sunglasses. Looking at this photograph, it can be said that she is standing in front of this building to take a picture. While in the second photograph, a beautiful street with historical buildings is presented to you.
In the second photograph above, a beautiful building can be seen. The name of this building is Peace Palace. The Peace Palace is one of the most famous and important buildings in the Netherlands. It is located in The Hague and is known all over the world as a symbol of peace, justice and international cooperation. Due to which this building has also been named Peace Palace. The Peace Palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with lush lawns, colorful flowers, and carefully maintained paths. Every visitor who comes here is often impressed by the peaceful atmosphere of the grounds.
This monument, which is seen in the photograph above, is rich in artistic details and symbolism. At the top is the Dutch Maiden. Which means that she is a female figure representing the Dutch nation and freedom. On her side is a lion. Which is understood as a symbol of strength and national unity. The broken chains on her legs are a symbol of freedom from foreign rule. All these things will be understood when you look at this monument carefully. We also understood all this during our visit to this place.
As can be seen in the photographs above, there is a huge garden of colorful flowers in front of the Peace Palace. Another feature of this building is the beautiful clock in its tower. The tall clock tower, ornate windows and detailed carvings make the building look like a beautiful palace.
