Stir-fry of Turkey Berry and Dried Sprats.

Thibbatu and dried sprats fry is a delicious Sri Lankan dish that combines the unique flavor of fresh thibbatu with the savory taste of dried sprats. Using just a few simple ingredients and some aromatic spices, these two ingredients can be transformed into a flavorful side dish that pairs wonderfully with a plate of warm rice.

This is a simple, traditional homemade recipe filled with a satisfying rustic flavor. It is easy to prepare and a wonderful addition to a delicious Sri Lankan meal.

Materials Used.

200g turkey berries 50g dried sprats 2 tablespoons coconut oil ½ cup coconut milk A pinch of salt A little chopped onion A little chopped chili Curry leaves A little chopped garlic ⅓ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder WhatsApp Image 2026-09-07 at 14.53.06.jpeg

The cooking process as follows.

Next, take a cooking pan and place it on the stove. Add about 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Once the oil is hot, add the dried sprats and fry them lightly.
