How To Deal With Problems Calmly || MGCI Topic Review

Problems are unwanted and sometimes unexpected situations that happens to us as people living in the world. Even though, they are unexpected situations, we are expected to respond to it in a Godly manner.

There are some problems that comes in the form of conflict between family members, colleagues at work, neighbours and even between believers. The word of God expects us to respond in a way that is calm and loving.

Problems can also be in form of challenges of life. Being calm does not mean our problems disappear immediately, it means we believe that God is working even when we cannot see it. As Christians, we should read God's Word, pray regularly and trust His promises.

The Bible also tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious about anything but to pray about everything. When we pray with faith and thanksgiving, God gives us peace that cannot be explained. This peace helps us think clearly and make wise decisions instead of acting in fear.

One of the greatest examples is Jesus even when a violent storm shook the boat, Jesus remained calm because He knew His Father was in control instead of panicking, He spoke peace to the storm (Mark 4:35–41). This teaches us that no problem is greater than God's power.

Every problem has an expiry date but God's love and faithfulness never end. When challenges come, choose faith over fear, prayer over worry and patience over panic. A calm heart that trusts God will always find hope, strength and victory in the end.
