[Movie] Mortal Kombat 2021: The Eternal Rivalry of Fire and Ice ❄️🔥, WarLords Review

I’m really excited—as happy as a kid from the ’90s at the arcade, haha—and I have an extremely positive impression after seeing yesterday what’s been done to kick off the Mortal Kombat franchise with a cinematic approach 😃😃. I do have some criticisms, but they’re more focused on today’s audiences—when they get toxic about certain franchises… it makes me want to pull off some good Fatalities on them for their lack of judgment and appreciation for the positive things a movie has to offer, instead of just focusing on the negative aspects these stories might have 🤔🤔. The best thing about this movie is that there will be many more to enjoy; it didn’t let itself be defeated by the flaws it does have—and I’ll name them—but I’m glad because what I saw were many characters from the game brought to life as flesh-and-blood people with vibrant personalities who fight their way to the forefront, with Fire and Ice standing out the most in this film ❄️🔥

The 2021 film Mortal Kombat is a solid start in terms of entertainment potential and battles in the cinematic reboot of this story. I also think it manages—thanks to the times we live in—to appeal to a female audience that, over the decades, has come to enjoy the violent, testosterone-fueled, gore-filled action that this type of story offers. Estoy muy contento, feliz como un niñito de los 90 en el Arcade jaja, una impresion en extremo positiva luego de ver ayer lo que se ha hecho para iniciar con la franquicia de Mortal Kombat en un enfoque cinematografico 😃😃. Tengo críticas pero mas enfocadas a la parte de las audiencias actuales que cuando se vuelven toxicas en ciertas franquicias.... provoca hacerles unos buenos Fatalitys por la falta de criterio y apreciacion por las cosas positivas que ofrece un film y no solo quedarnos con lo negativo que estas historias pueden tener 🤔🤔. Lo mejor que tiene esta pelicula es que vendran muchas mas para disfrutar, no se dejo vencer por los fallos que en efecto tiene y los nombrare pero me alegra ya que lo que vi fue muchos personajes de ese juego convertidos en personas de carne y hueso con unas personalidades vibrantes que luchan positivamente por el protagonismo donde en este film mas destacan El Fuego y El Hielo ❄️🔥

Mortal Kombat el film del 2021 es un solido inicio en cuanto a potencial de espectaculo y batallas en el reinicio de esta historia para la parte cinematografica, considero tambien percibo logra incluir gracias a los tiempos actuales a una audiencia femenina que con el pasar de las decadas se une para disfrutar de la testosterona violenta y bien cargada de gore que tiene este tipo de historias, animense a ver y a dusfrutar de esta gran pelicula con mucho para destacar 🤩🤩

I’m sharing the trailer with you—it doesn’t hold back at all, and that’s actually the first thing to criticize 😐😐. I’m so glad I haven’t read any reviews of this movie, because honestly, they give everything away and ruin the whole thing, haha—especially since the trailer already gives too much away, haha 😂😂. Of course, the trailer is designed as a metaphorical hook to draw in the entire audience—and in that regard, I don’t blame them. But the fact that I watched the movie without knowing what to expect left me completely blown away by the story’s opening 😃😃

It was like watching The Last Samurai—the beginning of the movie is clearly inspired by that film. I sensed it in the dramatic, classic, and beautiful subtlety with which the story of the Legendary Scorpion began. I hope you enjoyed my dubbing of his legendary line of dialogue, which is sure to be a highlight of this movie 😜😜

A more critical point: the film balances its focus between the eternal conflict between the warlords Scorpion and Sub-Zero and a fictional character. I think this is where the director and screenwriters failed in their approach—in striking the right balance—since it’s very risky to give such a prominent role to a fictional character 🫤🫤

But this in no way detracts from the genuine conflict rooted in the hatred between Scorpion and Sub-Zero, the hatred of their clans that lives on through them, and the quest for revenge—this overpowers any negative elements the film may have.... I think actor Hiroyuki Sanada is an ambitious narrative addition to this first movie, as it attempts to elevate the franchise to a very dramatic and serious setting—which I really liked 😌😌

Mortal Kombat is all about fights, blood, and tournaments.... Well, yes.... But why can’t it aspire to be more when the rivalry between Hanzo Hasashi and Bi-Han is a narrative thread that surpasses the tournament itself, given that the tournament in the games is a plot contrivance 🤔🤔

Les comparto el Trailer que no se cohibe de nada y esto es increiblemente lo primero a criticar 😐😐, como me alegra no haber leido reseñas de esta pelicula ya que sinceramente cuentan todo arruinando todo jaja y mas aun si el Trailer muestra de mas jaja 😂😂, claro esta, el Trailer lo hace como un gruto metaforico para llamar a toda la audiencia a que vea a porque si, en ese aspecto no los culpo pero el hecho de que vi el film sin conocer lo que me iba a encontrar, me golpeo en la quijada mortalmente para quedarme impactado positivamente con este inicio de la historia 😃😃

Fue como ver El Ultimo Samurai, el inicio de la pelicula es justamente una inspiracion de ese film, lo percibi asi por la delicadeza dramática, clasica y bella con la que empezo esta historia del Legendario Escorpion, espero hayan disfrutado de mi doblaje a su legendaria linea de dialogo en juego que no faltara en esta película 😜😜

Detalle mas critico, el film balancea su protagonismo entre el conflicto eterno de los señores de la guerra Escorpion y Sub Zero junto con un personaje inventado, pienso aqui es donde Director y Guionistas fallaron en el enfoque, en la balanza ya que es algo muy peligroso colocar un personaje inventado tan protagonista 🫤🫤

Pero lo anterior para nada desmerita el conflicto verdadera en el odio de Escorpion y Sub Zero, el odio de sus clanes que vive a traves de ellos y la venganza, esto masacra cualquier elemento negativo que pueda tener el film.... Considero al actor Hiroyuki Sanada es un plus narrativo ambicioso por parte de esta primera pelicula al tratar de elevar la franquicia a un entorno muy dramatico y serio que a mi me agrado 😌😌

Mortal Kombat es peleas, sangre, torneo.... Pues si.... Pero por que no puede aspirar a ser mas cuando la rivalidad de Hanzo Hasashi y Bi-Han es una ramificacion narrativa que supera al mismo torneo en si, siendo el Torneo en juegos un desproposito de guion 🤔🤔

I think it was absolutely the right move to start this film franchise with the conflict between these two ninjas, so it could serve as a prelude to the Tournament.... I’m thrilled that it achieved the box office numbers needed to continue, despite the critics who focus on the negative rather than the positive—which is actually a lot 😃😃

Liu Kang and Kung Lao are AMAZING 😱😱—they really capture the characters’ essence. They aren’t the main protagonists, but they really stand out with their martial arts styles and skills. I loved how the film quickly establishes their powers; we move past that quickly and get right into the fighting, haha

As for Sonya and Mileena, I want to emphasize that I’ll be writing a separate review dedicated solely to them in the future to encourage more female viewers to watch the movie and make these amazing warriors their favorites 😊😊

Jax really surprised me in a good way—he’s one of those complicated, overly secondary characters. Here, he’s still a supporting character, haha, but everything about his arms is just mind-blowing 😱😱. I’ll point out that he’s identical to the game version—but then again, who isn’t identical to the game version…? I was impressed by the casting in this movie

A great movie whose sole purpose is to serve as a prelude to the tournament—a risky decision on the part of the creative team, but I liked it. It gave the movie personality and provided a breather to take advantage of the fact that it’s a prelude to the story, laying out everything about how powers are obtained, etc., so that when the tournament arrives, it all makes sense. I thought it was very logical 😎😎👍🏻

Vi absolutamente correcto empezar esta franquicia filmografica con el conflicto de estos dos ninjas para que sirviera de preambulo al Torneo.... Contentisimo de que logro los numeros suficientes para continuar a pesar de las criticas que se quedan con lo negativo y no lo positivo que es muchisimo 😃😃

Liu Kang y Kung Lao son ALUCINANTES 😱😱, es que tienen la estetica de los personajes, no son los protagonistas pero como destacan con sus estilos marciales y habilidades, me encanto que el film justifica rapidamente los poderes, salimos de eso rapido y a pelear se ha dicho jaja

De Sonya y Mileena hago enfasis que hare una reseña exclusiva sobre ellas solamente a futuro para invitar a mas audiencia femenina a ver y que tomen como favoritas a estas grandiosas guerreras 😊😊

Jax como me ha sorprendido positivamente, es uno de esos personajes complicados y demasiado secundario, aqui sigue siendo secundario jaja pero que impresionante todo en torno a sus brazos 😱😱, destaco que es identico al del juego pero es que quien no es identico al del juego.... Quedo impresionado por los casting de este film

Gran pelicula que tiene como proposito unico ser el preambulo al torneo, una decision arriesgada por parte del equipo creativo pero a mi me gusto, le dio personalidad a la pelicula y un respiro para aprovechar el hecho de ser un preámbulo en la historia para dejar todo presentado sobre la manera en que se obtienen los ppderes etc para cuando llegue el Torneo, lo considere muy logico 😎😎👍🏻
