Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Hello to all the members of this community! This is my first time participating in @ weekly contest, which I think is a really fun way for users to interact with each other.

Here's my entry:

What if the money of the future weren’t bills or coins, but something completely unexpected? Imagine a currency so crazy that no one could resist having it. What kind of thing could become so valuable? How about a Moneda del Tiempo Perdido (MTP) - Coin of Lost Time? Have you ever wondered what happens to those minutes that mysteriously disappear every day? I’m talking about those moments when you walk into a place and can’t remember what you were supposed to do there or what you were looking for, or when you get lost in social media and realize you’ve been at it for hours. The MTP is all about collecting those lost minutes. For example, every time you forget something, a fraction of MTP accumulates in your account. Do you realize how much “fortune” we’d accumulate after spending hours in endless Zoom meetings trying to agree on project details? But best of all, this currency will make us reflect on how we value time. Because at the end of the day, isn’t it the most valuable resource we all have? So the next time you find yourself staring into space, lost in your thoughts trying to remember what you were going to do next, remember: you’re investing in MTP I hope this idea at least brings a smile to your face, because lost time isn’t so easily recovered.

Invent a New Kind of Currency. The new currency I will invent is Youtube Dollar because majority of people are using the internet and part of their internet usage is watching and browsing YouTube videos. There will be a time in the future where people will now become heavily dependent on YouTube for everything they need and this is where the YouTube Dollar comes in where this currency will be the main source of access to the videos they want to watch, meaning if a person does not have enough YouTube Dollar the video will only buffer and the only way to earn Youtube Dollar is by watching the ads on the platform without clicking the Skip Ad button

If I would invent a new kind of currency, it will be a wig. The reason wig will become a new kind of currency is because in the future when the AI has overtaken the humans and aliens have started invading the planet, the humans will not be in control of the society and the only distinct between humans and aliens is hair because all aliens have similar face shape and does not have any hair. This is where the wig comes in where humans will be able to use wigs to gain food or futuristic services from the aliens. The value of wig is based on its length, color and style with colorful and long wigs will have more value compared to the usual wigs that are black in color and have shorter lengths. The most valued wig is the one that has curly hairs and has a mixture of red and purple color making it the most sought wigs by the royal aliens

To invent a new kind of currency, as if it's not weird enough nowadays where crypto currency being introduced since decades ago. Who the heck would think of digital records becoming publicly available medium to hold "value".

If there's something to be "invent" as a currency, I believe water will be ultimately becoming one of the most important commodities (it's already very important). One fine day when it's so crucial, and there's absolutely no way that people can fetch clean water from rain, the filtration system will become the new gold standard. When the clean water becomes so expensive where paper currency unable to hold enough zeroes to exchange with water, then clean water becomes the latest currency. There will be time when we will have to make the decision, there's a bag of clean water in the pocket, should we trade it with food, or hold on to it just a little longer, in case I don't get clean water for the next 2 days. This can be starting with barter currency initially, but then sooner or later, it will be too much hassle to carry kilos and liters of water to buy stuff. I'm pretty sure the new banks can came up with paper currency that's backed by clean water.

I want to introduce green currency to protect eco-system. I will replace paper currency with Green Credits Or Carbon Credits that credit it's consumer for planting tree. In this way people would be planting more trees and plants globally.
