Greetings, Hiveans! A pleasure to see one of my favourite contests — Alphabet Hunt — is back to life, now run in Bangladesh community (check the rules and bravely join in). I tried to fit into 6 words limit and ended up with this selection: Coffee / Cinnamon / Cigar / Cookies / Coin / Centesimo.
There are many, may great words starting from this letter: Chocolate, Candy, Canoe, Cage, Chain, Crown, Cello, Chest, Cacti, Chapter, Candle, Chess, and I can go on. Looks like one of my favourite letters - and you will see below, why it is so.
Coffee.
I am a fan of coffee (tho I like tea as well). We have a charming coffee rituals in my family... I prefer to prepare it myself in a jezzwa, from a freshly-ground coffee beans.
Cinnamon.
Coffee goes well together with species, like cinnamon and cardamon... and of course, with a cigar.
Cigar.
No, I dont smoke cigars. Its just a photographic prop from my arsenal xD
Cookies.
Cookies will make a refreshing solid part of your check, when you make an order at a pompous cafeshop in historical part of a tourist city; but I am not going to photograph a check - I'd rather shoot little shiny coins -- be it a cent, cantime or centesimo. Getting a cup of coffee for one penny would be nice, isnt it?
Coin / Centesimo.
Most of folks dont use small coins anymore, they borrow a credit card instead. Well, thats a way to go, I use them too. 🤑 But personally, I always have my pockets filled with a handful of small change!
'Centesimo' is the name of Italian penny. I dont own an actual coin, but I can present you original stamp valued in this nominal. I prepare a long blog about Fiume stamps - an ephemera from interbellum Europe shaped some unique postage history, so this entry emerged in my mind almost momentarily (after coffee, of course).
While I was taking the pics, our curious cat popped up to inspect what was going on - he's our Supreme Cat Overseer and does his duties very accurately.
Although he brough two 'C' words at once, it did not fit my plan, haha. Sorry!
Initially I planned to add the word Cobweb - it didnt fit my story, but this summer I made several nice captures which I was pretty proud of and didnt share yet. It came very handy cause, huh, it is not an easy task to shoot a cobweb when you suddenly need one! After consideration, I decided to keep it for letter 'D'.
Now thats all. Hope you liked my visuals -- see you next time.
