St.Petersburg: two cityscapes in monochrome

Two cityscapes from St.Petersburg: at the central street and in the unusual yard. (I was enjoying my wide angle lens on that day). I decided these go better as #monochrome. What do you think?

Два городских пейзажа Санкт-Петербурга. (В тот день я наслаждался видом центральных улиц и дворов через широкоугольный объектив). На мой взгляд, в монохромном варианте они смотрятся лучше. А как кажется вам?

Колодец двора через монохром точно лучше, а вот улица с фасадом возможно и цвет бы был интенеснее. Не хватает сравнения.
