Hello everyone, when I think about games on Hive I don't have much thoughts about it because I don't spend hours playing games every day. I am a 50+ family man so my time is limited but I have enough for my family and other stuff which I must take care of as the head of the family. But when I have leisure time I enjoy playing games and I don't think my age can stop me from playing any game. Age is just a number and games are not limited to a certain age. Old people like me can also play because from heart we are still the same kid. So the two games I usually play are Splinterlands and HiveGrove. Both are different games that I enjoy playing.
I have been playing Splinterlands mainly because I like the strategy behind it. At first, it can feel a little confusing because there are many cards and abilities also it's not easy to understand the ruleset or modifiers at the beginning. But once you start playing regularly a game becomes more easier. I was successful to create some good teams and win battles in Splinterlands. But I must mention that I do not always win, so I took lessons from my losses and created a new strategy every time. I look at the battle and would say to myself "I wish I put this card here not there."
The other game which I play is named HiveGrove it's a relaxing game that I like to play because it's peaceful. I like the feeling of slowly building things up and checking my progress. I water my trees after that I try to help others water their tree they also help me back. I keep coming back It's not only because of the rewards. Of course, rewards are nice and nobody will say no to them. But if a game isn't good enough then rewards can't make me play for long because I don't like boring games.
I think games give me time to have a break from the regular routine. After putting my several hours with family and daily life then sitting on the sofa having several minutes to play something for fun can be very therapeutic. I don't think of myself as the best competitive player in Hive but I sure enjoy taking my time and playing at my own pace. This is why I think gaming is fun. I think any game is good to play if we are entertained by it.
