The above screenshot has been taken from the website known as CoinMarketCap. It shows the pretty green hills of the Hive Token over the past 24hrs. If we were to expand the graph to the one week mark we will see that the Hive Token started to gain some upward traction on the 19th/20th of August. $0.047 that's the USD value of one Hive Token during this latest pump. As of 2026-08-24 the current USD value of one Hive Token is $0.4308. The 24hr trade Volume of the Hive Token is $780.57K which is decent but still just a drop in the pan to what Hive has potential and historically traded at. The 24hr trade volume is the number I am most interested in. At $780.57K in trades this tells me there isn't allot of people eager to sell their Hive Tokens at the current sale price of $0.043. Speculation is high and if I were to guess most investors or traders are expecting Hive to continue its upward trajectory. In the long run I certainly expect it to. Even in the mid term I expect the Hive Token to have a higher USD value per token than it does today. Short term, I think anything is possible. However I am no financial adviser. Always do your own research. In fact I routinely make bad financial decisions so its best to not listen to anything I say. I do have about 1000 HBD and am itching to purchase the Hive Token with it but I haven't pulled the trigger just yet. I almost did when Hive dipped below $0.040 some days ago but ultimately decided against it. My procrastinating got the better of me.

The above is the one week graph for the Hive Token taken from CoinMarketCap. It shows what we discussed in the opening paragraph of this post. The rise and correction of the Hive tokens latest pump. If we move to the internal HIVE:HBD trade market we can see the Hive token is trading at or near $0.044 HBD. That is because HBD is currently valued at slightly below $1.00 USD. HBD is short for Hive Back Dollars and is designed to trade at 1:1 with USD. Small deviations is expected. In my opinion the HBD Token has been holding its peg rather beautifully. The mechanics that keep it pegged have been proven to work as intended. To get to the Hive Blockchain internal trading market simply visit your wallet section and select the drop-down menu located near your Hive Token balance. After doing so a menu will show. Select Market and boom you will be brought to the HIVE:HBD market. You won't find any other pairs here. It's strictly for trading the HIVE and HBD tokens. What is the current 24hr trade volume of HBD:HIVE on the internal market? That is a good question. Let's take a look. $15,558.81 worth of trades is the answer. That is also a beautiful number. The Hive Community is active during this pump and if you are one of those who are speculating I hope your moves work out for you. Usually when the Hive Token pumps you can find layer two Hive Tokens (Hive-Engine Tokens) being traded at discounts. Those wanting some profits trading their tokens for Hive Tokens in hopes the Hive Token continues do just that, increase in USD worth. Other's who dabble in Hive-Engine tokens trading for their favorite token while the pump lasts. One such token I keep an eye on is the CHAOS token which is equal to one CHAOS pack when dropped in the Splinterlands MANA Well (found on the official Splinterlands site). To my surprise, CHAOS can be purchased for a little over 5.5 Hive Tokens currently. Put another way - a CHAOS token is currently selling for under $0.24 cents. There is only 90 on the TribalDex (Hive-Engine) market at that price. New orders withstanding, the price of one CHAOS token quickly jumps to over 6.5 token afterwards. I was slightly surprised to see 90 packs listed at 5.5 Hive Tokens per token (Pack). While CHAOS does sell at 5.5 Hive that selling point is usually on the Buy Orders side of the trade market. Today we see it in the Sell Orders side. Someone speculating that the Hive Token is going on a deeper run upwards? It could be but whatever the reason someone has the opportunity to snatch up some CHAOS packs for under $0.24 cents each.
