Hello everyone, I'm reviewing Avatar: The Way of Water. I recently watched this film again, and honestly, the visuals alone make you want to keep watching. From start to finish, the film is captivating and beautiful.
The story continues with Jake Sully and Neytiri. They are raising their children. This is the continuation of the first film. Jake is different now because he is a father, and he's doing everything to ensure his family stays safe.
When humans return to Pandora once more, Jake believes they are searching for him. So, he decided to leave his home with his family to protect them. Consequently, they find a new home with the Metkayina.
Jake's children certainly find it challenging to adapt to their new environment. They have to learn how to swim and do other things underwater for a long time.
This is like starting a new life, adapting to a new environment.
As the they were adopting to the new environment Lo'ak became friends with the big sea creature, Payakan, that saved him when he was about to die and drown in the water. They see the creature as dangerous, but Lo'ak didn't judge him like that. I love the way they spend time together and how they understood themselves. It's really amazing. This part teaches me something: we shouldn't judge something differently just because people are seeing it differently. And it is when you get close to someone that is when you will know the real him.
This film offers many lessons because it mainly focuses on family. Jake and Neytiri are not just fighting for Pandora, but also to keep their children safe. It's interesting when the children get into trouble, but the parents let them learn from their mistakes, which is the right approach.
Everything about this film is unique. I loved seeing the underwater world and how the creatures move around in the water. Every scene in this part was amazing. My attention was mainly on the ending. The final battle put Jake's family in danger, and some painful events occurred. It was very emotional during the battle. Neteyam, the eldest son, is killed. His death is one of the most emotional moments in the film.
I absolutely enjoyed this film and would watch it again. It has earned a rating of 95 from me. Image source IMDb
