We've reached the end of another season in Splinterlands, and with that, another season begins, full of new features, such as a bracket system in Modern mode, which I'll talk more about in the future, since the focus will be on rewards, how the season went, and my strategy for using the Glint I earned during the season.
Starting with how the season went, the end was quite intense because I was missing many matches to complete the 250 needed to participate in the survival event rewards for testing the brackets. As this was the last testing season, since the system was implemented in Modern, I tried my best, even with some unforeseen issues, such as: not finding matches, slow loading times, among others.
In the end, with little time left, I managed to get the 250 games, but some people left it to the last few minutes and an earlier-than-expected update prevented them from completing the required number of games. The tip is to never leave it to the last few days, as there may be some problem or unforeseen event that prevents you from completing it.
The event prizes haven't arrived yet, but with the glint I got this season, the glint from the Bracket II survival pool, and the glint from the survival leaderboard, it was enough to take a step towards my epic card strategy at level 3. With the EOS glint, I managed to get 9 Epic Draws, which was enough to upgrade 3 cards. Come check out the prizes and the epic strategy!

Splinterlands EOS - Upgraded 3 Epic Cards!
My current strategy for using glint, as I've mentioned before, is to level up my Epic cards to level 3. For a while now, I've been buying Epic Draws, but none of the Epics have leveled up. This was expected, but with persistence, they are leveling up, and the number of cards I need is getting smaller and smaller.
With this, with the prize money, I finally managed to upgrade not one, but 3 epic Reward Conclave Arcana cards at once, making my deck much stronger. And I'll save the rest of the glint that's left over this time because there are many other epics that are almost reaching level 3. WailSworn Specter is almost at 3bcx; Saltwraith Pirate and Voss are only 2 away; Joraki Venshiro only 1.
These cards were all leveled up to level 3: Tandi Janda, Kazira, and Rila Fen. Rila Fen was the only one that didn't gain a new ability, while the others did. However, Rila's level 3 granted her 2 stat points, +1 HP, and +1 Shield, which is also great. As for Tandi Janda, upon reaching level 3, she gained the Lookout ability, which causes adjacent units to take 1 damage less than sneak, snipe, or opportunity damage.
Finally, we highlight Kazira Vaelstrik's level 3, whose stats remain the same, but she gained the crucial close combat ability for any archer due to the disadvantage of not being able to attack in the first position. Many defeats occur precisely because you ended up with the archer reaching the first position, and the opponent can have any card with an attack on the other side and still win...

Chegamos ao fim de mais uma season no Splinterlands e com isso uma outra season se inicia, cheia de novidades, como um sistema de brackets no modern mode que devo falar mais sobre no futuro, já que o foco será premiação, em como foi a season e a minha estratégia para usar o Glint que ganhei durante a season.
Iniciando sobre como a season, o final foi bem intenso porque ficou faltando muitas partidas para completar as 250 necessárias para participar da premiação do evento survival de testar os brackets. Como essa foi a última season de testes, já que o sistema foi implementado no modern eu tentei ao máximo, mesmo com alguns imprevistos, como: não encontrar partidas, demora no loading, entre outros.
No fim faltando pouco tempo acabei conseguindo as 250 partidas, mas teve gente que acabou deixando para os últimos minutos e uma atualização antes do previsto acabou impedindo que ela completasse o nº de partidas. A dica é nunca deixar para os últimos dias já pode ter algum problema ou imprevisto que te impeça de completar.
A premiação do evento ainda não chegou, mas com o glint que consegui na season, o glint da pool do bracket II do survival, o glint da leaderboard do survival foi o suficiente para dar um passo em direção à minha estratégia de cartas épicas no nível 3. Com o glint de EOS, consegui pegar 9x Epic Draws o que foi o suficiente para dar o upgrade de 3 cartas. Venha conferir sobre a premiação e a estratégia épica!

Splinterlands EOS - Upgraded 3 EPIC Cards!
A minha estratégia atual para o uso de glint, como eu já venho mencionando é colocar as cartas épicas no nível 3 e já faz um tempo que eu vou comprando os Epic Draws e nenhuma épica subia de nível. Só que isso já era esperado, só que com insistência, elas vão subindo e a quantidade de que fica faltando começa a ficar cada vez menor.
Com isso, com a premiação, finalmente consegui upar não uma, mas 3 carta épicas Reward Conclave Arcana de uma vez só, deixando o meu deck muito mais forte.. E o resto de glint que sobrou dessa vez vou juntar porque tem muitas outras épicas que estão quase chegando no nível 3. O WailSworn Specter falta mais com 3bcx; Saltwraith Pirate e Voss faltam apenas 2; Joraki Venshiro apenas 1.
Essas cartas foram todas para o nível 3, sendo elas a Tandi Janda, Kazira e Rila Fen. Dentre elas, a Rila Fen, foi a única que não ganhou uma habilidade nova, enquanto as demais ganharam. Entretanto, o nível 3 da Rila garantiu 2 pontos de status, +1 de HP e +1 de Shield que é ótimo também. Já no caso da Tandi Janda, ao chegar no no nível 3, ela ganhou a habilidade Lookout que faz com que unidades adjacentes levem 1 de dano menos de sneak, snipe ou opportunity.
Por fim, de destaque temos o nível 3 da Kazira Vaelstrik, que os status continuam iguais, mas ganhou o close combate fundamental para qualquer arqueiro pela desvantagem de não poder atacar na primeira posição. Muitas derrotas são justamente porque você acabou com o arqueiro chegando na primeira posição e o oponente pode estar com qualquer carta com ataque do outro lado que ganha...
