Blue Heron in the Everglades

While visiting the Everglades last week I encountered a large Blue Heron in the bike path standing tall with its wings spread. While I did not have the camera ready in time to capture him in that pose, I had the opportunity to take some photos of the bird. Here are some of my favorites.
