Top Seat Lichess Crazyhouse Team - Weekly Bullet Crazyhouse Team Battle

Not my best performance, losing to most players with a lower Rating then my own.

I very seldom attempt one minute bullet but I decided to give this one a try, since it was at the very beginning of the tournament.

There was, a learning experience in this tournament: With strong play and winning position, it still might take to long to find the “CHECKMATE”…

My performance rating is normally higher in Crazyhouse tournaments but not expected to be in bullet. I was surprise that I was on the verge of some very good wins but gave into Blunder and Time...

In the game below I used the “Sneaky Dam Bishop” tactic to flush out my opponent King and get a Checkmate.

This game move sequence perfectly describe the sneaky dam bishop tactic, most times teaming up with a Queen or another piece to attack from afar.

Note: Sneaky Dam Bishop is described in an earlier post a few years ago: https://peakd.com/hive-157286/@rodrook/bishops-are-sneaky-and-dangerous

Many people describe the knight and bishop in many different ways and for many different reasons just as I do myself. However it has become very apparent to me that The Bishop is just Dam Sneaky!!! That is the best way to describe the bishop. The bishop is also very dangerous because it is constantly collaborating with another piece mainly a queen or a knight to do serious damage to your chess kingdom and chess game.

Congrats! Bullet is nothing for me.

  • Nice victories. Here's what Carlsen said about how the knight moves :)
