[Music] Review of Avicii song “Waiting for Love”

If you want to start your day with positive energy, or simply enjoy a pleasant afternoon while sipping coffee and catching up on a couple of tasks from the office or doing any other kind of activity.

Anyway, I just want to tell you that listening to “Waiting for Love” adds excitement to whatever you’re doing, thanks to its acoustic-electronic melody, which starts off soft and gradually builds up to a festive, explosive climax.

If you take a closer look at the music video, you’ll notice that it actually depicts a melancholic scene in which an elderly person wakes up one day without the company of their beloved and no longer has their support and companionship.

We can also see that this elderly person doesn’t stay home; instead, he decides to go for a ride on his electric bike, though it seems he never stops reminiscing about the moments he shared with his beloved, and you can see a hint of sadness or melancholy in his eyes.

All of this happens until he arrives at a repair shop where he gets his bike fixed and decides to go for a ride again—but this time in better spirits. We see that although he encounters several obstacles along the way, including an aggressive-looking person, they end up helping him and accompanying him for a while on the road.

You can also hear how Avicii mentions each day of the week, and for each day he has a goal to achieve, a task to complete, or a mission to fulfill.

This part is interesting because it can be interpreted as the idea of creating a planner and identifying the things to do each day with the goal of filling each one so you don’t end up with nothing to do.

Like what? Possibly wasting time and missing out on the chance to enjoy life.

Finally, I want to add that it’s a good song for anyone looking to learn English.

Rating: 100/100

A beautiful review of what this song represents; without a doubt, there is loneliness despite the cheerful rhythm.
