Gotta Make The Family Smile: Using Leftovers, I Made Cheesy and Creamy Egg Sandwich Spread

I've been sharing lots of our food trip in the past week, UwU. Well, thats just mean one thing, I am making an effort just to prepare something for the family. I made time, I mean. Though they are all a simple foods, easy to make too, but knowing that I can make the family happy with those simple things are enough reason for me to do this. Seriously, if I have more spare money, I will also try different foods to share with the family. I want to make carbonara, I almost cook spaghetti on my birthday but coz of practicality, I changed my mind and decides to go with burgers. And I am still on the planning in making my chicken siomai, this is postponed for now. I'll do this too, in time. ୧| ͡ᵔ ﹏ ͡ᵔ |୨

Now, I made burgers on my birthday and I actually have a lot of leftover of cheese and mayonnaise -wait, this is actually a mayo based dressing not pure mayo. But Mama loves it so, yeah. I still have a lot of them so there's only one recipe I could think of. An Egg Sandwich Spread -and to make it special, I will put cheese in it, a lot of em ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

And coz I already know what I want to make I I also bought a bread in the market when we visit there in the morning, just a pack coz we still have leftover from the other day

I also bought four eggs and boiled it for few minutes. Glad our neighbor has eggs coz its cheaper from them. Imagine getting XL egg for only 8 pesos. Its a steal!

I already peeled the eggs here. I also have ground pepper on my hand, that much yes. Not sure if its a teaspoon or what.

I mashed the eggs, its easy. I added the pepper, sugar, just a small amount, and a pinch of salt, Cheese used here is already salty So I used just a pinch of salt. And yes, i grated the cheese on top of it. Lotsaaaa

Then I put the all purpose dressing last and mix them really well. This is also when I checked if I seasoned if well. I just added a small pinch if salt and more cheese before I was satisfied with it. I also asked Mommy D to taste test it and she said it is already good. Happy me!

And there we have it, a creamy and cheesy egg sandwich spread made with some leftovers hihi. I love the cheesy part in it. I want too add more but too much is bad, so I just add enough amount, enough to make it cheesy. Hihi

Its time so spread it in a bun! I just reheat the buns in a margarine because seriously, bread taste so much better when it is a little toasted. I love the crunch! Ehe

And then I spread a good amount of cheesy egg sandwich spread in it. I put a lot because it taste even better with more in it. Right? L9vely!

We all enjoy this as a morning snacks. Of course we already had this before too but we don't eat it that often coz Mayonnaise is kinda expensive too. Especially my favorite brand of Mayo. Ahh, actually, the first egg sandwich spread I ate was made by Mama. That time I didn't even know that it is possible haha. I enjoyed it too much thats why its stuck into me. I already forgot how it taste but my favorite is its texture and creaminess anyway, so, I can still enjoy them. Hihi

And that's all for today ( /^ω^)/♪♪

Egg sandwiches really bring back memories! I like how you mentioned the texture and creaminess. That’s exactly what makes them so comforting. Even if we don’t eat them often, they’re always special when we do.
