I don't really like the skin of chicken when it it cooked like a stew or in soupy recipe. After tasting the crispy chicken skin which Mommy D cooked, since then, I just want my chicken skin cooked that way. I love how crispy it is and I don't really need to use oil to fry them. Its crazy actually, how much oil a chicken skin has. And its not like it is a healthy oil right? At least if its fried, I can separate the oil from its skin and enjoy its crispiness to the fullest. Just the crispy chicken skin is enough to pair with rice or a leftover. When I frIed some chicken skin, even if in the morning, I can't stop myself from eating it with rice. Lol. Its is just really so good.

Anyways, before that, we went to the market first to buy the ingredients we need for our lunch. I bought almost a kilo of chicken meat, the breast part, for me and Mommy F. Sadly we could find any fish there. I prepared two different dish, Adobo and a Stew. And coz chicken breast has lots of skin too, I happily remove them from the meat clean it thoroughly win vinegar and salt. By the way, we took the usual route going to the market.

When we arrived home, I visit the garden ro pick some red chilli and then Mama told me that some bell peppers are all ready for harvest. There's not much but I excitedly picked them hihi. Lovely!

Fast forward...I marinated the chicken meat in ketchup, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and msg. While marinating them, I am already frying the chicken skin into its own oil.

I also marinated the other half of chicken meat into soy sauce, garlic, pepper, salt, and msg.

Minutes later, I finally finish frying the chicken skin. In frying this one. Once its about done, or just a minute into finishing it, I splash some water in it and cook it for few seconds I did it thrice, why? Just coz... Lol. Seriously guys, it is so, so, so, super crispy. I enjoyed eating it with leftover rice. Hihi

And then I cooked the chicken Adobo and Stew on two burger. I cooked the adobo in medium heat while I cooked the other into low low heat, lol. The other burner actually has a problem and it can't be adjusted to medium or high heat level. Aigoooo. It just started when we grill a fish in it. ಠ﹏ಠ

And because the chicken stew is mine, I made it more extra special by adding crushed peanuts and of course the red bell peppers. Mommy D said it smells so good ♪┌|∵|┘♪ . Of course I put bell pepper too in Mommy F's Adobo. ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ

I'm done cooking our lunch so I checked on Mama downstairs. I saw her grilling something in her dirty kitchen. It is tint but heavy, I thought it is some meat, but no. She also mentioned how good it smells. She wrapped that something on a ginger leaves by the way.

I got curious so asked Mama and she told me it is Milk Fish liver. Its a big milk fish so of course their liver is kinda big too. And she cooked it in a cool and creative way, hihi. But man, it looks really good!!

I am so tempted ro try it coz they look really so good. Suddenly, this looks more delicious to me. Love the roasted spots in there, the fire actually penetrates inside ginger leaves. UwY. I am not a fan of fish liver but I love chicken liver, I like pig liver too especially in Batchoy.
