Ich liebe die Eier unserer Hühner und ich liebe Spargel. Darum teile ich mit Euch mein Sonntagsmenu. Nebenbei nehme ich noch am «Zeigt die Eier» Wettbewerb teil.
I love our hens' eggs and I love asparagus. That's why I'm sharing my Sunday menu with you. On the side, I'm also taking part in the "Show the eggs" competition.
Aus diesem Ei, respektive zwei Eiern, wird nun eine Majonaise.
This egg, or rather two eggs, are now used to make a mayonnaise.
Zwei etwa 35g schwere Eier komplett, einen Schuss Weinessig, Zitronensaft, Salz, Pfeffer und etwa 3 dl Oel, dann mit dem Stabmixer von unten nach oben mixen.
Two eggs weighing about 35g completely, a dash of wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt, pepper and about 3 dl of oil, then mix with the hand blender from bottom to top.
Die leckere Majo hätte ich am liebsten schon mit dem frischen Baguette gegessen. Manchmal braucht es Beherrschung und das war bei mir jetzt gefragt.
I would have loved to have eaten the delicious mayo with the fresh baguette. Sometimes it takes restraint, and that's what I needed now.
Nun bereitete ich einen leckeren Tartar, ebenfalls mit einem Ei von unseren lieben Seidis zu. Da meine Liebste mit Tartar überhaupt nichts anfangen kann, besorgte ich geräucherte Forellenfilets für sie. Diese rollte ich ein wenig zusammen und füllte sie mit der leckeren Majo. Ah ja, in der Zwischenzeit waren die Spargeln im Dampfgarer. Über die Zubereitung von Spargeln kann ich vielleicht später einen Post senden.
Now I prepared a delicious tartare, also with an egg from our dear Seidis. Since my sweetheart doesn't like tartare at all, I got some smoked trout fillets for her. I rolled them up a little and filled them with the delicious mayo. Oh yes, in the meantime the asparagus were in the steamer. I may send a post about how to prepare asparagus later.
Die beiden Gerichte genossen wir mit einem frischen, knusprigen Baguette, welches ich zum Glück nicht nur mit der Majo verzehrt hatte. Wenn Ihr wie wir, in unserer Nähe eine Spargelbäuerin kennt, so nehmt unbedingt die Gelegenheit wahr und besorgt euch den Spargel frisch gestochen, es gibt nichts Besseres.
We enjoyed both dishes with a fresh, crispy baguette, which I was lucky to have eaten with more than just the mayo. If, like us, you know an asparagus farmer in our area, make sure you take the opportunity to get your asparagus freshly cut, there is nothing better.
