Shaved head, Ten years on Hive, France fires, England holiday, Solar eclipse, Spiral Garden & more ✨

Yes i shaved my head but this hardly seems like news when celebrating ten years on the Hive blockchain (originally steem).

My inactive steemit account seen here, joined August 2016. image.png

Much has changed since then.

image.png

Despite all the politics the blockchain endures and i am just grateful to have a permanent reliable censorship-free place to put my content.

Moving quickly on, because i've not made a post since Spring and have a lot to say, why did i shave my head?

Well, it was my 50th birthday this Summer, celebrated with a few friends at home. 5859CA02-D84B-496A-A485-F6B1B6A4F676_1_105_c.jpeg

Once it was done i made some changes to my life, mostly dietary, now fully embracing the raw vegan diet. Today's smoothie contents seen here, this one around 75% homegrown. D97C77DB-1DF8-45A9-B28D-E290F236CDB9_1_201_a.heic

Every day i drink a load of wild and garden grown greens along with my fruit in an attempt to boost up on minerals, fixing an ongoing tooth problem. A meal's worth of wild greens here. 7742C82C-77CC-4C9E-BE23-6F7BAB59EE7E_1_201_a.heic

Fruit now represents around 60% of my diet but i do still permit myself a cooked meal in the evening, rice or sweet potatoes generally which are high in carbs. Lots of people around here think i am crazy (coz too much fruit is bad for you Sam!) but i can tell it is doing something positive and will persist with the 80/10/10 diet long into the future. 80% carbs, 10% protein, 10% fats.

It has been suggested by many that too much fruit will lead to diabetes, but looking into it i can confirm that absolutely isn't true. The majority of studies on the connection between fruit & diabetes focus not on raw, whole fruit but on high fructose fruit drinks, two very different things. The distinction is important because whole fruit, particularly apples & berries will actually protect you from diabetes while processed fruit drinks will increase your risk of contracting it.

Yes, the sugar from all this fruit does feed bacteria in my mouth which leads to acidic bacteria poop, corrosive to teeth. So i use a simple salt water rinse after each fruit session to neutralise those sugars remaining in my mouth. The struggle i am having is limiting my fruit sessions to just three times a day because the quantity we must eat is greater than it would be if the food were solid and my stomach must be expanded to accept more in each sitting, avoiding the need for bananas and other fruity snacks throughout the day.

My occasional 'naughty' treat comes from feathered friends in the garden. 11110964-6DB7-4094-948B-3E6FC866DBCB_1_105_c.jpeg

So i shaved my head to commemorate a half century in this body and new beginnings in relation to how i look after it. 66B38D28-E2CA-44BB-8AF3-4F942982B2EB.heic

Hair is our natural antenna connecting us to cosmic energies without which we are forced look inward, to learn the hardest lessons. The Buddhists with their shaved heads seem to understand this, while the biblical story of Samson and his unnatural strength also alludes to it because his physical power is lost when Delilah cuts his long hair and he has to find another source of strength to crush his enemies once and for all in the temple of his captivity. This of course the hardest lesson because to destroy his enemies he must also destroy himself. But what if he had called upon God for strength to achieve a more constructive goal? Perhaps he would have learned how he never needed his long hair and that God dwells not out in the cosmos somewhere but inside him, ever present and ready to assist.

Here i am on the day of shaving, checking out my receding bits which were starting to look less than desirable again. D2F86B34-58DB-4509-9DA4-30358248B66C.heic

Compare my current hairline to how it was ten years ago and you can be sure it is better now than it was then. D42E55DD-B10D-4095-A464-C7DF7867DC5C_1_201_a.jpeg

Here it is seven years ago just before i set out to correct it. Looking quite thin. image.png

Today, two and a half months after shaving, it has grown back thicker and i have been able to fill in the receding bits with my usual techniques such as massage, cold water and home made creams. IMG_0676.HEIC

Fresh out of the shower this morning i took more photos with the hair pushed upwards so there can be no trickery covering the area in question. Screenshot 2026-09-06 at 11.34.39.png

For me it looks fine now, making a mockery of the idea that once a man starts to recede there is nothing more he can do but wait for the inevitable.

Am available as a consultant for any men who wish to reverse their hair-loss!

I'm serious. It isn't that hard once you have the knowledge.

France Fires

It is currently the year of the Fire Horse and those who run this show have taken full advantage of it, creating extra fires on every continent to remind us that we humans are responsible for global warming (while completely ignoring the longer colder winters). Here in France we regularly get forest fires in the Summer but this year was different because there we so many of them, bigger than usual and our village was directly under threat.
44B9E0FF-FB7A-4090-A251-25A12E4A73FE_1_105_c.jpeg

At its peak the fire was no more than a few hundred meters from our home and let's just say it was an intense experience for all of us.
BE03898F-97C7-49B2-A693-7A07817643DF_1_105_c.jpeg

We were evacuated by the police but never went further than a few hundred meters, remaining vigilant and observant at all times until there was no more danger.
5581E286-9649-4BC0-9D1F-90D9DA21D60F_1_105_c.jpeg

I made a short film to document the moment.

Amazingly it was watched by John Major, ex-UK prime minister, who felt as if it was a good record of the event. I am friends with a lady who was with him at the moment i sent her the film and she felt moved to show him.

He was encouraged by the way in which we were saved at the last moment by water bombers, planes with the ability to scoop water and drop it at desirable locations. Apparently my film motivated him to start looking into how the UK might combat such fires and i can't help but smile. Does he really not know these fires are started intentionally by extensions of the same government he was once a part of?

What i don't mention in the film is the mass of evidence pointing to manipulation.

  • The chemtrails were particularly heavy in the weeks leading up to the fire, seeding the already dry land with highly flammable particles.
  • The fire focused exclusively on land occupied by independent thinkers, people living off-grid, many of whom lost everything.
  • It moved too fast to be natural and was evidently being helped along in some way, confirmed for me by locals who have experienced these fires countless times in the past.
  • Directly after the event i could see areas of green land where a fire had been started but did not successfully spread. Just isolated circles of destruction on the hillsides, nowhere near the main fire itself. Which obviously only makes sense if the fires are being started intentionally.
  • The fire was very selective about which buildings or cars to engulf, often leaving one car or building intact next to another it destroyed, congruent with a directed energy weapon attack.
  • Reports of dwellings exploding from inside before the fire had reached them also confirm the involvement of DEWs.
  • France experiences wildfires every year yet it has a fleet of just 20 water bomber planes for the entire country which are 30 years old now, leaving on average only 10 planes airworthy at any given moment. Meaning that large wildfires like this one (without road access) will not be stopped quickly.
  • On the first day of the fire three water bombers were deployed in our area, clearly visible from our village. But they were not filling up at our local lake right next to the fire. Rather they were flying 30mins round trip to a different lake, miles away from here. People obviously noticed this and made enquiries so the following day, by which time the fire had grown substantially, they switched and used the logical choice, our much closer lake. The given reason for avoiding our lake on the first day was "logs in the water" but our friends who live at the lake say this simply isn't true. Neither was there any evidence that "teams of people" worked all night long to remove these fictional logs.
  • Last but not least the fire began on July 4th, the 250th anniversary of America's so called independence. Numerology is an essential part of how we have been duped into our current reality and July 4th is a powerful day because it is a hidden 11 day. July is the 7th month so 4 days into this month you have 7+4=11. This number is used to make us collectively remember traumatic events, holding us more effectively in the reality presented at that moment. No coincidence of course that WW1 was ended at 11am on 11/11, successfully driving into our reality the never-ending wars which have been birthed since then. So when a collection of huge fires begin on an 11 day the false concept of anthropogenic global warming remains in our subconscious more effectively.

This French man sums it all up quite well, though it should be noted that he is looking at a different part of France (south west) with a different problem, the need for data centers.

The most effective thing we could have done at the time to help keep our home safe was drawings, depicting our village in a protective bubble of Light Energy. So that's just what we did. 7BFC2EAA-61C2-4DE3-9E82-BAC92D452334_1_105_c.jpeg

And as far as i can tell, it worked a treat!

UK holiday

After the intensity of the fire, a week in Norwich was a welcome break. Here we are getting a lift to the airport with a friend. E1727AFD-6BA5-4B5E-9908-4F1AEB2A076F.heic

Hadn't heard of the black shuck before so i will tell you briefly now that it is a massive black creature resembling a dog with red eyes, said to have entered a church during a storm just outside Bungay in 1577 where it killed some people and trashed the interior of the building. After being trapped in the church by some keen locals it caused the steeple to collapse and scratched at the door before finally finding a way out. The alleged scratch marks are still visible today on the inside of the church door and as this was not an isolated event the creature gets remembered once a year with a festival. image.png

He was on route to northern Spain where the coming eclipse would be seen in totality and decided to check in with us for a few days as the last time we met up was around ten years ago, when i filmed his wedding at his home in Samoens.

It was lovely re-connecting with him and we enjoyed a few local walks together. F6E4FC9F-81EE-46B2-9758-42C72792DE34.heic

Solar eclipse

On the 12th August at 8pm we could see an eclipse of around 98% totality. IMG_0467 2.jpeg

Many people arrived in our village hours before the event because this was the best spot in our region from which to view it. 70C20F3C-9899-4D25-B837-5E67FAB31A2F.heic

This was a special eclipse for us because the sun was so low, making it more visible than usual, but the eye shades were still on at the beginning while it was bright. A1759E7B-3DE6-41B0-AA50-A2465549A2B4.heic

It was a strange moment when, over the course of around 20mins, the sun went from being very bright to very dim. F087ED38-B1EE-4285-8452-97F5A6E7C7ED.heic

Amazing to see. 24864354-B265-4168-844D-0F1F656FC89A.heic

The children enjoyed it, though i think they were expecting something more dramatic. F03357E5-8AED-41E0-9E5F-75920966B44A.heic

I didn't use the shades at all because i look directly at the sun regularly but was interested to note that Esteban didn't need them after a certain point, unlike his mother who regularly wears sunglasses and was therefore unable to look at it directly without the eye shades, even when it was at its dimmest. 8B04F315-B1A6-466E-B1AF-159CADC78509.heic

Obviously you can do what you want (as Sabrina does) but it would be wrong of me to not mention that sunglasses are a very damaging human invention and the less you wear them, the less you need to wear them. Conversely the more you wear them the more you need to wear them, so it is better to never start! And, as i have noted now, those who don't wear them will be in a much better position to enjoy solar eclipses without the use of special shades.

The sun was just starting to return when it went behind the mountain. F69E8D6F-6E5A-48C3-BB09-92360173C442.heic

The final moments seen here. 68DAC9C9-C12D-4B7C-ABFF-4083AB843562.heic

It was a great experience but it got me thinking about something:

A silhouetted object with a single light source always has a solid colour so why is it we don't see the moon as a complete black circle when the sun is directly behind it? There are no other sources of light except the one behind it and in this situation the front object is always seen as a silhouette. Even the official definition of silhouette makes this distinction:

A silhouette is the representation of a subject as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, where the edges match the subject's outline.

Yet what we see during an eclipse is an invisible circular object passing in front of the sun. EBE3EE18-769D-43C3-884A-35B155B5DEE4.heic

Certainly it must be the moon but perhaps someone can help me understand why we don't see it as a solid coloured silhouette?

Spiral Garden

So much delightful stuff going on in the garden for which it is hard to find descriptive words. Everything is just humming with perfection, all plants exceeding my expectations.
654F9E2B-2A26-4919-BA93-81B8BA49A687_1_201_a.heic

But why would this be when other gardens in our region seem to be suffering from the hot Summer? 5C07B5EB-494D-40DF-BD9D-E15781056DF7_1_201_a.heic

I know it isn't just about the electroculture because Sabrina's garden has the same gadgets as me, yet it hasn't flourised in the same way as mine this year. Here you can see the 'office' of the children, right next to the white cone flowers of the datura. C87C50D2-3A32-48C6-AC43-326EC5211352.heic

All my kale is normally dead by this time of year, eaten by bugs & caterpillars. Yet as if by magic, there are no bugs to be seen.

Important i think to always leave one 'sacrificial' kale for the bugs. They will tell you which plant they prefer. 1628FD47-49B6-4800-A994-270242376D96_1_201_a.heic

Kale is such an important part of my diet, particularly because you can't buy it in France so it really feels as if the garden has made some adjustments to permit for me to have what i need.

Don't want to gross you out but let's just say if my poo isn't green i'm not eating enough kale. D6431E5A-BB55-4E50-B101-3CDAACA12CF6.heic

Next to the kale we have ashwagandha, grown for their roots. This year looking so very healthy. D7375E18-839C-4A80-B669-6F5CA0430653.heic

Ashwgandha, also known as Winter cherry, is hands down my favourite root tea so when i see my plants this healthy at this stage of their growing season (with months remaining) again i feel as if the garden is responding to my needs by preferencing the plants most important to my health needs.

Behind the chicken enclosure we have Jerusalem artichokes, one of them approaching 12ft, twice as big as i have ever seen them. Even more amazing, i didn't plant them!

Very excited to dig up the sweet potato responsible for these vines at the end of the year and see if i beat my last record from a single plant, seen here in 2024. B8E00B81-8F6F-4CE6-A97A-1710D903BE77_1_105_c.jpeg

The stove is there so i can heat stones and create steam, ultimately jumping between a hot sauna and cold plunges in the pond.

So back to that question, why is my garden humming with perfection while others are not?

I believe it is because i am starting to apply the teachings of Anastasia in everything i do and the garden is responding. For example, after each dip in my pond i shake the water off my skin onto all the plants, informing them about me and my requirements. This year's kale speaks for itself as evidence something has changed. A local 'expert' told me recently it simply isn't possible to do what i am doing, growing kale all year round without protective nets to keep the bugs off them. Well, it is possible for me. If you've not heard of Anastasia i recommend you read The Ringing Cedars, book 1. While there are nine other books to read after this one, i have been so massively inspired by this book alone and feel as if Anastasia deserves a post here on the hive blockchain.

image.png

So moved have i been by not only her words but also by my interactions with the garden, that i am now penning my own book, tentatively entitle The One Game. One Game cover.png

The square represents our physical experience here on Earth, four cardinal points, four seasons, man-made right angles. While the circle represents the sun, the moon, the celestial cycles and of course our spiritual experience here. The tendency of man is to put the circle well inside the box, logic and reason ruling over that which seems less tangible. But when the two shapes are interlocked in this way it represents a perfect balance between physical and spiritual, neither shape trying to enclose or overpower the other.

Will get more into the subject matter of this book in a future post but in short it is inspired by my children and my land, timeless wisdom for the masses, channeling through my interactions with nature. 29FB2F5E-8C23-4154-BF3C-2BFCD03E457C_1_105_c.jpeg

In the last few days we had our village car boot sale at which we sold produce from the garden alongside the usual baby clothes. Here we have herbal teas, picked last week. Verbena, chocolate mint, jiaogulan & hops. E5462254-8C16-45B0-9C67-B8EE09216C9D_1_105_c.jpeg

Plus cones & pyramids alongside the cucumbers! 5608DEF9-CE0A-4C70-AB64-28E464DBA53D_1_105_c.jpeg

The cucumbers sold out quite fast and many people seemed amazed i am getting such great results this late in the season. I wanted to talk about Anastasia of course, but held back and just thanked them for their compliments.

Checking out the other vendors in the morning i came across this and simply had to buy it! For 8€ it was a steal. 57A7191B-5108-4D58-B2FA-3E99F6600104_1_105_c.jpeg

Not sure yet what i will use it for but i just love the shape and feel. Plus you can never have enough copper vessels!

Living water experiment

Lastly i wanted to tell you about a new system we have in place for creating personalised drinking water. All you do is pick a plant you like and help it develop roots in water. In this case i used a wine making vessel to maintain the humidity while the roots were formed. 9D824D69-7B54-4716-83DC-8630ACBE5853.heic

Little more than a week was needed before the roots were developed enough to place our four plants into smaller bottles with fresh water.

So what we have here is two chocolate mint plants (one for each of the children), a Thai basil for me and a jiaogulan for Sabrina.

Now that the roots are developed and living from this water the idea is to drink half the bottle each day, afterwards replacing the missing half with fresh (filtered) water.

Even better if we can interact with our plant, sending it love and specific requests regarding issues with our body. One might also put stickers on the bottles with drawings or words to better facilitate their communication. Health, endurance, clarity etc. IMG_0830.HEIC

Water has consciousness just like plants so it seems to me that when the two of them are connected in this way by a bottle the resulting water must surely be very powerful. Perfect for drinking in the mornings as your first drink, ideally with a prayer.

The best solutions for our health issues tend to be the simplest and also the most overlooked.

Until next time.

Love & Light everyone 🌱

As we get older, our food preferences naturally change. We tend to choose healthier foods and become more mindful of what we eat.

Congratulations on your 10 years on Hive and Happy Birthday! Here’s to many more years of sharing, creating, and growing with the Hive community!

Congrats on you 10 years on Hive and thanks for this interesting post.

I had heard about the French fires but didn't know much about them.

So sad that off-grid independent thinkers were so badly affected.

Happy birthday Sam - I like your hair shaved, it suits you! Good to see you're experiencing such good health still.

I have to counter some of your points about the fires though - as an Australian I feel I have particularly knowledge here across many years of seeing wildfires, some of which had particularly devastating loss of wildlife and humans.

It moved too fast to be natural and was evidently being helped along in some way, confirmed for me by locals who have experienced these fires countless times in the past.

We have seen a few fires that, due to a specific set of circumstances, had moved at awful speeds unexpectedly. Fires can move insanely fast - and if you've not seen that in living memory, rest assured it can happen, and does, in Australia. Having seen fires 'countless' times in the past doesn't mean that the next fire is going to behave in exactly the same way, and our short human lives and human memory doesn't mean that disasters will always follow the patterns we remember and expect.

Directly after the event i could see areas of green land where a fire had been started but did not successfully spread. Just isolated circles of destruction on the hillsides, nowhere near the main fire itself. Which obviously only makes sense if the fires are being started intentionally.

Obviously it doesn't - we have seen this a lot around here. Spot fires are the norm, as airborne embers can set fire to areas well ahead of the main front - some burn and extinguish, some catch fire, depending on various factors. It's pretty normal, so you'd need more proof than that to say this was a marker of the fires being lit intentionally.

The fire was very selective about which buildings or cars to engulf, often leaving one car or building intact next to another it destroyed, congruent with a directed energy weapon attack.

Oh no, this is sooo common here! Fires can leave one place in a whole street which seems crazy but it happens all the time! Patchy destruction is completely and ABSOLUTEY compatible with wildfire because all structures don't neatly ignite with a calm and straight wall of fire - you get windborne embers going into vents, under roofs etc and the radiant heat also can impact what catches fire and what doesn't. It can be amazing to see what survives and what doesn't.

Reports of dwellings exploding from inside before the fire had reached them also confirm the involvement of DEWs.

Actually, that doesn't confirm it at all - again, windborn embers can and do go under vents and eaves and through chimneys etc and set fire to things and explode gas canisters etc well before the obvious fire reaches the house.

France experiences wildfires every year yet it has a fleet of just 20 water bomber planes for the entire country which are 30 years old now, leaving on average only 10 planes airworthy at any given moment. Meaning that large wildfires like this one (without road access) will not be stopped quickly. On the first day of the fire three water bombers were deployed in our area, clearly visible from our village. But they were not filling up at our local lake right next to the fire.

WE're lucky to have a pretty good defence against fires, though STUPIDLY the government doesn't pay our volunteers who cop the worst when there is fire and have higher rates of cancer etc let alone PTSD and trauma. Still our firefighters are some of best in the world and have been sent to California etc to help train firies over there. Having old planes and bad training is definitely a poor strategy as wildfires increase. Choosing a less close lake sounds like incompetence to me rather than nefarious action.

Arsonists, however, are a completely different story - they should be hung drawn and quartered, as do idiots who leave fires or throw cigarette butts out the window. That happens here too, even in a place like Australia where we know how damaging fires can be. There's a lot of wilful blindness on the part of other players too, like forest industries that cut old growth forests to the ground and what comes up in their place is no where near as fire resilient.

Believe me, I've been part of many, many fire conversations over the years, and a lot of the 'patterns' you see as evidence for deliberate attacks don't seem unusual. I'd want more evidence for the weopons you speak of rather than these patterns of fire that seem very ordinary, even if they appear mysterious to you.

Thank goodness your beautiful place survived though - goodness, your garden looks absolutely incredible. The eclipse also must have been wild to see! What a summer it must have been. Hopefully the fire season is out of the way now and it's not a sign of things to come.
