***** Good evening guys! 👋 A while ago, I downloaded a game called Level Devil 2, but for some reason, I never actually opened it to see what the game was about. Today, I finally decided to give it a try because I was curious to see what the developers had added to the second version. Unfortunately, I was disappointed almost immediately. 😂 After opening the game, I realized that it had absolutely nothing to do with the Level Devil I know. Instead of getting the same frustrating troll gameplay that Level Devil is known for, I found myself playing what was basically a simple run-and-jump game. At that point, I was like, "Wait… is this really Level Devil 2?" I honestly started wondering if whoever created the game simply used the name Level Devil 2 to attract players who were searching for the actual game. Maybe I'm wrong, but the experience definitely wasn't what I expected. I was expecting something that would frustrate me even more than Level Devil 1, but instead, I got a completely different game that I wasn't really interested in. Since I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to go back to the original Level Devil. And honestly, I didn't even play it because I was in the mood for it. 😂 My network is still giving me problems, so I checked my phone to see what offline games I could play. Surprisingly, Level Devil was the only offline game I had available at that moment. So I entered the game and decided to make the best of the situation. This time, my goal was to grind through two stages and see if I could complete them within a reasonable amount of time. Of course, anyone who has played Level Devil already knows that "reasonable amount of time" is sometimes a very ambitious goal. 😂 The game started frustrating me almost immediately. There were moments when I genuinely felt like closing the game and doing something else. But then I remembered one annoying thing about the game: if you quit in the middle of a level, you don't simply continue from where you stopped. You have to start the entire stage again. And that's something nobody wants after spending a long time struggling through a stage. 😭 So, even though I was already getting tired of the frustration, I decided to endure it and finish what I started. I kept playing, kept failing, kept trying again, and somehow managed to push through. But something funny happened in the process. What initially felt like a punishment for me actually turned into something good. 😂 Because I didn't quit halfway through the game, I ended up recording a really beautiful gameplay video that I can now use for a post. So, I guess the game wasn't completely against me today after all. 😭😂 Sometimes you just have to endure the frustration until you get something worthwhile out of it. I'm still going to keep checking the Play Store to see if I can find a legitimate Level Devil 2, because I'm definitely curious to know what an actual sequel would look like.
