This is an old wood seagull from my son, we bought it as a present when he was 5 years old. As he is 24 now, I asked him if it would be ok to give it as a present to the daughter of our neighbors in Portugal, he agreed and I took it from the house in one of my summer trips. For a few days I had it hanging on the porch as if it was flying away from home in the middle of the farm between the olive trees. Iris, the little girl next door now 5 years old loved it.

that seagull has had quite a journey after all these years. handing it over to the neighbor's kid is a really nice way to give it a second life.
