Sweatcoin is Dead

I remember when Sweatcoin was announced it was a big deal at the time, it was associated with NEAR blockchain and was supposed to be the next big thing in Move to Earn.

I have been with Sweatcoin app even before the Sweatcoin crypto was announced. I had accumulated a good amount of coins just by walking.

Most of my coins are still locked up in jars or basically staked. They are not worth anything anymore though as the price took a dive even before the shutting down announcement.

This is kind of a sombering reminder that we are in a very difficult environment for crypto projects and it is not guaranteed that your project is going to survive.

Here is their official announcement:

    I had heard that as well and I had played with that a couple years ago. I don't know how much I have but it likely isn't worth anything at this point.

    It's so hard to drive demand to a project and make the tokenomics make sense and be sustainable.
