🏝 Fuerteventura - A Photo Diary 📸 Day 2

One of the great advantages of running is that you can do it practically anywhere. No matter the terrain, no matter the weather, you just need a pair of running shoes and you're ready to go. And for me, running is also the ideal activity to explore a new area, especially on vacation. Two or three runs and I already know where the beach is beautiful, where there is a good view, but also where the next gas station or supermarket can be found. And so I set off on day 2 of my stay on Fuerteventura for a run, with the goal of approaching the local mountains of Corralejo.

So let's have a look at the Volcanos de Bayuyo!

I was born in the canary islands and all islands are different. La Palma is a lush green paradise

Beautiful Photos! I do think since a while that I should set Fuerteventura on my list "I want to go" . Thank you for sharing

This is what jogging on Mars may look like and feel like :D Very unique landscape. And I agree, jogging is a great way to explore new places, I did that often when traveling. Sometimes, you don´t actually even need the shoes, I loved to jog barefoot on the white, powdery fine Caribbean beaches for example...

I flew into Iceland years ago. The landscape looked like this--I thought it looked like the surface of the moon. You captured the moon in two of your photos!

Some people might see desolation--I see quiet :) Must have been really peaceful.
