Although I'm quite eclectic when it comes to movies, series, music, and audiovisual titles, I've never considered myself very good at writing reviews, but what I enjoy most is expressing my feelings about a particular title, what it evokes in me, whether it's a song or something visual.
So, I decided to do it my ninja way and, to debut this, talk about a song that I've carried with me for a long time and that is basically my mantra for life. Basically, I write its name everywhere on my social media. In the BIO category, I usually just write it:

From the group Racionais MC's, and for me that's it: life is a challenge, a great and insane challenge, and since I was a teenager I've carried this phrase with me, because my life is a challenge, just like many other people's.

It has strong rhymes and conveys a message of just that, that life is a great challenge to be overcome, but that perhaps you won't always win. But just because something can't be conquered doesn't mean you can't try, that you can't fight to achieve what you want.
I want to present to you some parts of the song and my perspective on what I feel when listening to it and reflecting on what the music is trying to convey. Of course, it may be that nothing I say is what the song truly intends to convey, but the interpretation of life and everything is unique to each person; each feeling is unique and special.

Although at that time people still talked a lot about the traditional family, the love between a man, son, and wife, we know that today all forms of love are valid. However, regardless of the genders of those involved, building and maintaining a family is not easy, especially in a third-world country with a corrupt government.
And the only universal truth that sustains faith is love. I believe that love is the only universal language that everyone can understand. Although difficult in practice, love is the most powerful force we all possess.

As a father, this part touches me deeply, because children are always considered our future and our hope for a better world. Although this doesn't always happen, after all, generations have passed and, in fact, it seems that everything gets worse. Children are empty vessels that receive content and information; they are still learning, they are pure, therefore they don't know hatred and greed.
The final part shows the opposite of what the financial life of many people is like. The rich are always fearing losing all their fortune, as if the only thing that matters is money, while the other friend, the brother, unemployed, penniless, addicted to drugs, just sinks deeper.
I believe it's a parallel between the idea that rich people can help the poor, but they are too concerned only with keeping their fortunes safe. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
This chorus always makes me question life:

Focus on the verse that speaks about paths. Can you understand how the path to healing can be the illness? How something that is harmful can, in fact, be the cure? How the path to forgiveness is, in fact, the sentence? This blows my mind, because you need to understand that, at certain times, it is necessary to do what we don't like, what we don't want, to follow the path that is not what we imagined, but that is necessary at that moment to reach healing!
When you love a girl in adolescence who doesn't love you, but you want to keep trying to win her over, and you, deep down, already know that she doesn't love you, but you insist, insist and suffer with it all the time. Then your cure is simply to walk away. Even if you wish, from the bottom of your heart, not to walk away, it is what you don't want that will heal you, will free you from this madness. This is an example that anyone can take and understand in their life.

Many people always talk about leaving the big city and going to the countryside. Why is that? Simple: we always expect the good times, the good times of abundance, but in the end, it never comes. Cities accumulate people, stress, hatred, greed, thieves, and ill-intentioned individuals. Not that life in the countryside is 100% peaceful, but the city accumulates everything: millions of tired, overwhelmed people who at any moment could throw their lives away and do something terribly wrong.
The other part speaks to how we all want to win, to conquer the gold medal and our place in the sun—that is, to fulfill our dreams and desires, which we know is not always so easy.

In this part, again talking about the present day (and look, this song is from 2002), it talks about how people are, people don't talk and, if you stop to think about it, nowadays we don't talk anymore, cell phones are on the tables, our children don't talk to us, people only see each other virtually, no hugs or kisses, feelings are kept inside, disappointments and qualities, everything is kept to oneself and we never have the courage to tell the other what we feel, what they did wrong and what they can improve.
Another point is that, since we often keep everything for ourselves, the good and the best for ourselves, but for others, only crumbs. How many times are we selfish? How many times do we take the best for ourselves, even when we don't need it, and leave the leftovers for other people? This is something our human nature does; we all have these moments that, unfortunately, take over and we act without even thinking about other people.
This part also makes me reflect a lot on how an old song is still so relevant, simply because of a single verse!

The attitude of evil influences the good minority. My God, this is what happens most in these days. Good people are few and far between; they often hide themselves to protect their safety, but even they can be broken and influenced by evil. Often, bad people commit cruelties, things we can't even imagine, and unfortunately, good people end up being forced to follow that path as well, out of fear, pressure, or any reason that makes them question their values at that moment.
I always try to follow the right path, but it's not always possible. Sometimes, to protect your family, your children, you have to act wrongly, in a bad way, because, in the end, everyone does it too. So this part is even more relevant today, how the good minority suffers from the large number of fools and selfish people.
Another super-realistic part, which happens to all of us often:

My desire is to make money, yes, even knowing that money isn't everything. I want to give my family a good life, but is it worth doing everything and stepping over everyone for it? There are people who think it's right to cheat, betray, and pull the rug out from under someone to get ahead in life, but is that really what we want? Is that really what's necessary for the good of your family?
Man, I find that sinister, because that's what I always try to do: climb the ladder of success using the right path, the hardest path, without shortcuts and, obviously, without stepping on anyone's head. Only cowards feel great stepping on ants, and I don't want to be like that; I don't want my children to be like that.
Oh, but are you going to live a miner's life? Are you going to stop making money because you're good? Are you going to stay in financial stagnation instead of taking down a colleague? My answer, without thinking, is: YES. I'm going to live all that because I don't want to grow by stepping on anyone, screwing anyone over. I'm going to work, follow my path, and I know that, eventually, things will work out. My focused work will be rewarded.
We've reached the end. It's impossible to pick just one part, because all of this makes sense in relation to our thoughts on life:

This part in the song is more like a speech, a singular conversation. We always think that problems will come and that we're never prepared for them, but in reality, we lose control of everything well before. I believe it says here that many things can be avoided if we truly prepare ourselves. For example, it comes to mind to have a reserve fund for financial problems or to carefully analyze situations that we know could go wrong, but we stubbornly insist on getting involved in them.
A phrase that changed my perspective on life is: “Tomorrow is an illusion, because it doesn't exist yet; today is real, it's the reality you can influence.” And well, how many times do we let time pass, life pass, and we don't pursue what we want or what really matters?
We wait for the future to arrive thinking it will be better, but in reality, the future is a consequence of the present; what we do today is what decides what tomorrow will be like. So, this changed my way of seeing and thinking. Just waiting for the future to come won't change anything; that's the illusion: believing that tomorrow will change by chance or luck.
In truth, everything is a consequence of our actions today, in the present, and that's what weighs most heavily in the end. That's why I say we are always building our future; the bricks are our actions in the present, and that's incredibly powerful. When you reflect on it, you understand that it's the purest truth.
The future is a consequence of the present.

Apesar de ser bem eclético em relação a filmes, séries, músicas e títulos audiovisuais, eu nunca me considerei muito bom em escrever uma review sobre algo, mas o lado que gosto mais é de dizer o que sinto sobre determinado título, o que isso causa para mim, seja uma música ou algo visual.
Então, eu decidi fazer do meu jeito ninja e, para estrear isso, falar sobre uma música que carrego comigo há muito tempo e que basicamente é o meu mantra para toda a vida. Basicamente, escrevo o nome dela em qualquer lugar das minhas redes sociais. Na categoria BIO, costumo apenas escrever ela:

Do grupo Racionais MC's, e para mim é isso: a vida é um desafio, um grande e insano desafio, e desde adolescente levo essa frase comigo, porque a minha vida é um desafio, assim como a de muitas outras pessoas.

Ela possui rimas fortes e passa uma mensagem de justamente isso, que a vida é um grande desafio a ser vencido, mas que talvez nem sempre você irá vencer. Mas nem mesmo porque algo não pode ser vencido quer dizer que você não possa tentar, não possa batalhar para conquistar o que deseja.
Quero apresentar aqui para vocês algumas partes da música e a minha visão do que sinto ao escutar e refletir sobre o que a música tenta nos passar. Claro que pode ser que nada do que fale seja o que realmente a música deseja passar, mas a interpretação da vida e de tudo é única para cada pessoa; cada sentimento é único e especial.

Pois é isso que tem que acontecer: é necessário acreditar que tudo é possível, que o sonho é realizável; afinal, se você não acreditar, quem vai acreditar? Praticamente ninguém te ajuda ou te apoia, então você mesmo tem que acreditar nisso, que o céu é o limite, que toda fase ruim vai passar, assim como as fases boas também passam.
O sofrimento é o que alimenta a nossa coragem. As dificuldades têm que ser utilizadas como combustível e não como choro; devemos fazer com que os desafios sejam degraus de nossa escada para o sucesso ou para realizar aquilo que se deseja.
Logo após, vem:

Nessa parte, quando você é uma criança ou adolescente, você nem sente o peso disso, mas depois que você se torna pai/mãe, entende que um dos principais desafios da vida é justamente esse: viver e fazer por sua família, porque eles precisam de você, que você seja forte, incrível, invencível, mesmo desmoronando por dentro ou chorando no chuveiro.
Apesar de que nessa época ainda se falava muito apenas de família tradicional, o amor entre homem, filho e mulher, sabemos que hoje toda forma de amor é válida, mas, independentemente dos sexos que estão juntos, construir e manter uma família não é fácil, ainda mais em um país de terceiro mundo com governo corrupto.
E a única verdade universal que mantém a fé: o amor. Tenho a visão de que o amor é a única língua universal que todos podem entender. Apesar de ser difícil na prática, o amor é a força mais poderosa que todos nós temos.
Olhe as crianças que é o futuro e a esperança Que ainda não conhece, não sente o que é ódio e ganância Eu vejo o rico que teme perder a fortuna Enquanto o mano desempregado, viciado, se afunda
Como sou pai, essa parte me toca muito, porque as crianças são consideradas sempre o nosso futuro e a nossa esperança de um mundo melhor. Apesar de que isso nem sempre acontece, afinal, gerações e gerações já passaram e, na verdade, parece que tudo piora. As crianças são vasos vazios que recebem conteúdo e informação; elas ainda estão aprendendo, são puras, por isso elas não conhecem o ódio e a ganância.
A parte final mostra um oposto do que é a vida financeira de muitas pessoas. Os ricos sempre temendo perder toda a sua fortuna, como se a única coisa que importasse fosse o dinheiro, enquanto o outro amigo, o mano, desempregado, sem dinheiro, viciado em drogas, apenas se afunda.
Acredito que seja um paralelo entre a ideia de que pessoas ricas podem auxiliar as pobres, mas elas estão preocupadas demais apenas em manter suas fortunas seguras. Ricos ficam cada vez mais ricos e os pobres, cada vez mais pobres.
Esse refrão sempre me faz questionar a vida:
Falo do enfermo irmão, falo do são então, Falo da rua que pra esse louco mundão Que o caminho da cura pode ser a doença Que o caminho do perdão às vezes é a sentença
Foco no verso que fala sobre os caminhos. Você consegue entender como o caminho da cura pode ser a doença? Como algo que faz mal pode, na verdade, ser a cura? Como o caminho do perdão, na verdade, é a sentença? Isso aqui explode a minha cabeça, porque você precisa entender que, em certos momentos, é preciso fazer o que não gostamos, o que não queremos, seguir o caminho que não é o que a gente imaginou, mas que é preciso naquele momento para chegar à cura!
Quando você ama uma garota na adolescência que não te ama, mas você quer continuar tentando conquistá-la, e você, no fundo, já sabe que ela não te ama, mas você insiste, insiste e sofre com isso o tempo todo. Então a sua cura é simplesmente se afastar. Mesmo que você deseje, do fundo do seu coração, não se afastar, é o que você não quer que vai te curar, vai te libertar dessa loucura. Este é um exemplo que qualquer um pode pegar e entender em sua vida.
A sentença, nesse caso, quer dizer sobre uma sentença da justiça, prisão, privação da liberdade, para que assim você pague seus pecados e consiga finalmente o perdão da vida, dos seus amigos e família. Essa sentença pode também ser qualquer outra coisa. Você se sentencia a alguma coisa para se perdoar; você aceita a sentença da vida em busca de mostrar para os outros que você mudou, que agora eles podem perdoar você.
Brutal.
Acelerando um pouco, chegamos nessa parte:

Aqui é o famoso conceito de que você não pode ficar parado. Não adianta parar e chorar, não adianta esperar o tempo bom vir, porque ele nunca vai vir, nunca vai ser o momento certo, nunca vai ser a hora certa; você que tem que criar esse momento, você que tem que fazer acontecer. Se o tempo ruim vem te abraçar, você tem que correr disso, não aceitar e correr atrás dos seus sonhos.
Sonhar é preciso, porque é isso que mantém os irmãos vivos. Sonhar é alimento, um dos vários combustíveis para a nossa vida e para que a gente nunca pare, nunca desista da vida.
Na cidade grande é assim Você espera tempo bom e o que vem é só tempo ruim No esporte no boxe ou no futebol Alguém sonhando com uma medalha o seu lugar ao sol
Muitas pessoas sempre falam em sair da cidade grande e ir para o interior. Por queisso? Simples: esperamos sempre o momento bom, o tempo bom da abundância, mas, no fim, nunca vem. Cidades acumulam pessoas, estresse, ódio, ganância, ladrões, pessoas mal-intencionadas. Não que a vida no campo seja 100% pacífica, mas a cidade acumula de tudo, milhões de pessoas cansadas, no limite, que a qualquer momento podem jogar a sua vida fora e fazer uma grande besteira.
A outra parte diz sobre como todos queremos ganhar, conquistar a medalha de ouro e o nosso lugar ao sol, ou seja, realizar nossos sonhos e desejos, o que sabemos que nem sempre é tão fácil.

Nessa parte, novamente falando sobre a atualidade (e olha que essa música é de 2002), fala-se sobre como as pessoas são, as pessoas não conversam e, se parar para pensar, hoje em dia a gente não fala mais, os celulares estão nas mesas, nossos filhos não conversam conosco, as pessoas só se veem no virtual, nada de abraços ou beijos, os sentimentos são guardados, as decepções e qualidades, tudo é guardado para si e nunca temos a coragem de dizer para o outro o que sentimos, no que ele errou e no que ele pode melhorar.
Outro ponto é que, como a gente muitas vezes guarda tudo para nós mesmos, o bom e o melhor para a gente, mas para os outros, apenas migalhas. Quantas vezes somos egoístas? Quantas vezes pegamos o melhor para nós mesmos, sendo que nem precisamos, e deixamos as sobras para as outras pessoas? Isso é algo que nossa natureza humana faz; todos temos estes momentos que, infelizmente, nos tomam conta e agimos sem nem pensar nas outras pessoas.
Essa parte me faz refletir bastante também, em como uma música das antigas ainda é tão atual, simplesmente por conta de um único verso!
É muito louco olhar as pessoas A atitude do mal influencia a minoria boa Morrer à toa e que mais, matar à toa e que mais Ir preso à toa, sonhando com uma fita boa A vida voa e o futuro pega Quem se firmou, falo Quem não ganhou, o jogo entrega
A atitude do mal influencia a minoria boa. Meu Deus, isso é o que mais acontece nos dias atuais. Os bons são poucos, escondem-se por muitas vezes por prezarem a sua segurança, mas mesmo eles podem ser quebrados e influenciados pela maldade. Muitas vezes as pessoas ruins fazem crueldades, coisas que nem imaginamos, e infelizmente as pessoas boas acabam sendo forçadas a seguir esse caminho também, por medo, por pressão, por qualquer motivo que naquele momento as faça questionar seus valores.
Tento sempre seguir o caminho certo, mas nem sempre é possível. Às vezes, para proteger a sua família, seus filhos, você tem que agir erradamente, de um jeito ruim, porque, no fim, todos fazem isso também. Então essa parte é ainda mais atual com o que acontece hoje, como a minoria boa sofre com a grande quantidade de tolos e egoistas.
Mais uma parte superrealista, que acontece muitas vezes com todos nós:
Enfim quero vencer sem pilantrar com ninguém Quero dinheiro sem pisar na cabeça de alguém O certo é certo na guerra ou na paz Se for um sonho, não me acorde nunca mais Roleta russa quanto custa engatilhar Eu pago o dobro pra você em mim acreditar
O meu desejo é ganhar dinheiro, sim, mesmo sabendo que dinheiro não é tudo. Quero dar uma vida boa para a minha família, mas será que vale a pena fazer de tudo e passar por cima de todos por isso? Tem pessoas que acham correto você fazer pilantragem, passar a perna e puxar o tapete para crescer na vida, mas é isso mesmo que queremos? É isso mesmo que é necessário fazer pelo bem da sua família?
Cara, eu acho isso sinistro, porque é o que tento fazer sempre: subir na vida utilizando o caminho certo, o caminho mais difícil, sem atalhos e, obviamente, sem pisar na cabeça de ninguém. Somente covardes se sentem grandes pisando em formigas, e eu não quero ser assim; eu não quero que meus filhos sejam assim.
Ah, mas você vai viver uma vida minerate? Vai deixar de ganhar dinheiro por ser bom? Você vai ficar na mesmice financeira em vez de derrubar um colega? A minha resposta, sem pensar, é: SIM. Vou viver tudo isso porque não quero crescer pisando em ninguém, ferrando com ninguém. Vou trabalhar, seguir o meu caminho e sei que, uma hora, as coisas vão dar certo. Meu trabalho focado será recompensado.
Chegamos ao final. Não tem como pegar apenas uma parte, porque tudo isso aqui faz sentido no que pensamos sobre a vida:

Essa parte na música é mais como uma fala, uma conversa singular. A gente fica sempre pensando que os problemas chegam e que a gente nunca está preparado para eles, mas, na verdade, a gente perde o controle de tudo bem antes. Acredito que aqui é dito que muitas coisas podem ser evitadas se a gente se preparar de verdade. Por exemplo, vem-me à cabeça ter um fundo de reserva para problemas financeiros ou analisar bem algumas situações que sabemos que podem dar ruim, mas teimamos em entrar de cabeça nelas.
Uma frase que mudou a minha forma de ver a vida é: *“O amanhã é ilusório, porque ainda não existe; o hoje é real, é a realidade que você pode interferir”. E bem, quantas vezes deixamos o tempo passar, a vida passar e não corremos atrás do que queremos ou do que realmente importa?
Esperamos o futuro chegar pensando que ele será melhor, mas, na verdade, o futuro é consequência do presente; o que fazemos hoje é o que decide como será o amanhã.
