This new Foundation collection introduces 36 unique cards: 30 Units and 6 Rare Archons, five collectible foil types, three exclusive pack options, and a reward system that puts Frontier Ranked battles and special tournaments at the center of the chase.

🌠 Meet the Starlight Caravan
For generations, the endless dust trails of Praetoria belonged to the Starlight Caravan.
Known across the realms as the Moving Marches, this fiercely independent band of traders, tinkerers, survivalists, and performers passed through warring kingdoms like a shift in the wind.
They survived on barter, favors, specialized trades, and a single unbreakable rule: total self-reliance.
They arrived unannounced, exchanged rare goods, repaired broken gear, and shared extraordinary tales before disappearing over the horizon. No lord could claim their allegiance, and no kingdom could make them stay.
Until they reached the Frontier.
Drawn by the untamed magic and possibilities of this new land, the Starlight-ers made a decision that generations before them never imagined.
The endless march was over. They had found their home.
Their legendary war-wagons have become fortified homesteads, their trading traditions have taken root, and their wandering community has become a permanent part of the Frontier.
But settling down hasn't softened their spirit. The Starlight Caravan has survived everything Praetoria could throw at it. Now, they'll fight to protect the place they've chosen to call home.

Starlight introduces 36 unique cards: 30 Units and 6 Rare Archons, within the existing Foundation card system, complete with its own distinctive set icon.

The collection follows the current Foundation foil structure, featuring five collectible versions:
- Regular Foil (RF)
- Gold Foil (GF)
- Black Foil (BF)
- Gold Foil Arcane (GFA)
- Black Foil Arcane (BFA)
All Starlight cards have no Collection Power (CP) or Production Power (PP).
Unlike traditional pack releases, Starlight uses a fixed supply of pre-minted cards distributed through three separate pack pools. Every card comes from an established allocation, with limited special foils in designated pools.

The Starlight Caravan didn't survive generations on the road by leaving its people behind. From repairing battered armor to protecting fellow warriors, the Caravan knows that survival takes teamwork.
Starlight introduces two brand-new abilities: Focus Guard and Repair Guard, bringing new ways to support your team and strengthen your battle strategies!
🎯 Focus Guard
At the start of battle, the next living allied unit behind this unit gains +1 ranged power if it has a ranged attack.
Positioning matters! Focus Guard gives Battle Mages another way to strengthen their ranged attackers before the battle even begins.
Place your units strategically to give the right ally an extra boost in firepower.
🛡️ Repair Guard
Each round, restores 2 armor (up to max) to the next living allied unit behind this unit.
A little protection can go a long way!
Repair Guard helps keep your allies in the fight by restoring armor to a unit positioned behind it. With the right lineup, that extra protection could make all the difference.

One ability strengthens your offense. The other reinforces your defense.
Focus Guard and Repair Guard introduce new positioning decisions and team-building opportunities for Battle Mages looking to get the most out of their Starlight cards.

Important: You must first earn the matching soulbound DROP token to purchase each pack. Credits alone cannot unlock a pack.

Sky Packs offer a straightforward way to build your Starlight collection.

All five cards are randomly drawn from the pre-minted Sky pool.
⭐ Stellar Packs: Chase the Special Foils
Stellar Packs offer a shot at Gold Foil and Black Foil Starlight cards.
- 8,570 Stellar Packs in the allocation
- 1,000 Credits per pack
- 5 cards per pack
- 2,571 packs contain exactly one GF or BF, representing 30% of the Stellar supply
- Requires 1 STELLARDROP Token
If a Stellar Pack contains a GF or BF, its other four cards are Regular Foils. Otherwise, all five cards are Regular Foils. No potions are used, and a special foil is not guaranteed in an individual pack.
🌌 Cosmic Packs: The Ultimate Starlight Chase
For collectors chasing the rarest Starlight foils, Cosmic Packs take things to another level.

- 4 Regular Foil cards from the Cosmic pool
- 1 guaranteed Gold Foil Arcane or Black Foil Arcane card
- 1 transferable Spellbook Token, expiring December 31, 2027

Starlight is built around earning the opportunity to buy a pack through gameplay. Three soulbound tokens unlock the three pack types:

These tokens are earned through Frontier Ranked jackpot prizes and special Weekend Tournaments. They cannot be traded or transferred.
⚔️ Frontier Ranked Jackpot Rewards
Each time you reach a qualifying five-win milestone in Frontier Ranked and earn a Fortune Draw Token, you also have a chance to receive a Starlight DROP token as a jackpot prize.

🏆 Weekend Tournaments: Another Way to Earn
Competitive Battle Mages will have additional opportunities to earn Starlight DROP tokens through special Weekend Tournaments.
A total of 2,030 DROP tokens are reserved for tournament prizes across approximately 50 weeks of events managed by the Splinterlands DAO.

⏳ Redeem Your DROP Tokens Within 15 Days
Each DROP token must be redeemed within 15 days of being awarded. Once you earn one, use it to purchase the matching pack with Credits.
If a token is not redeemed in that period, it returns to the Master Drop Bucket and can be awarded again while distribution is active.
A few important details:
- DROP tokens are soulbound and cannot be transferred.
- Packs are soulbound, but the cards inside are transferable.
- One token unlocks the purchase of one corresponding pack.
- Expired, unredeemed tokens return to the distribution pool during the promotion.
- Pack sales end September 30, 2027. After the sale, remaining DROP tokens are burned and no further packs can be purchased.

All Starlight cards are pre-minted and placed into separate Sky, Stellar, and Cosmic pools. Here is the full pack allocation:

These 80,195 pre-minted cards support a maximum of 16,039 five-card packs across the three tiers.
An important collector note: If Stellar or Cosmic Packs remain undistributed when the sale ends, their remaining special foils will not automatically be burned. The team may make those cards available through another distribution method in the future, at its discretion.
📊 DROP Token Distribution
Each pack has a matching pre-minted DROP token, with allocations split between Frontier Ranked jackpots and tournament prizes.

The token totals match the maximum number of packs available. Because an unredeemed token returns to the pool, a token may be awarded again if its first recipient does not redeem it in time. Once redeemed for a pack, it is no longer available for another purchase.
