Czas

Time
I am fourteen and a grey, autumn day beyond the bus window.
Young, yet strange — he wonders: what is the nature of time.
I say the word “already,” and it falls into the abyss and becomes the past. ALREADY DEAD it leaves my mouth and my mind (or is it leaving me behind?).
“It’s time that’s strange, not me” — thought the forty-four-year-old, turning his eyes away from the window.
