🐝 Have I Returned? My Actifit Report Card: October 4 2025

Maybe someone noticed my recent comeback to Hive after a little over two years away... or maybe not.
Either way, I've really, really missed Hive itself --- and the people I used to follow, read, support, and maybe even inspire.
And of course, I was inspired by them too. ✨

A lot has changed.

Oh yes, a lot.
From my savings here --- left without much management --- to the disappearance of some people I used to read constantly.
I still hope they'll return one day, even if it's in some new reincarnation...

We still have few truly worthy ones.

True.
I skimmed through my old subscriptions and many new users --- the problem of squeezing out a few hundred words for a few bucks hasn't gone anywhere.
That's the price we pay for rewarding every sneeze on the chain.
Maybe also for the lack of support for new talented people who'd like to stay for the long run but still see no sun on the horizon even after ten years.

It's an allegory --- those who know, will understand.

Of course, there are positives too. Everyone who stayed has grown --- both in writing and in the value their words carry.
That's awesome. 💪

I also saw many new projects started by my old friends here --- and many newcomers who brought both brains and ideas.
It was amazing to dive into these new waves formed during my absence.

I see (almost) everything.

Well, not really everything --- just what's on the surface.
I'm sure I missed dozens or even hundreds of new brilliant projects, apps, and ideas.
But I definitely read all my old friends. Even if I didn't leave a comment --- trust me, I was there.

To truly return, I felt I needed a post.
Something honest, solid --- and written right into Hive's blocks.

After all, that's what we do: we share, give, and offer moods through words (or photos, videos, podcasts).

Comments are the wind that carry those moods beyond the chain...

I came back the same way I started 3--4 years ago --- with Splinterlands, then Actifit, then my favorite Alive!
The difference is: now I'm more stable --- financially, professionally, and personally.

I've changed country, job, and language again.
I'm not 20 anymore, but it's still inspiring.
Maybe I'm the first person who will never grow old 😄 (don't we all dream of that?).

This country has done a lot for people like me --- wanderers --- and for Ukrainians too.
I'm deeply grateful to all the good people here.
My circle of friends has grown a hundredfold over the past few years.

Inside, life has its ups and downs, but overall --- it's great here.

The thirst to write.

Oh, that thirst never fades.
Even with no free time, doing physical work from sunrise to sunset, and collapsing with no energy left --- I still wrote in my head.
And of course, all those thoughts got erased by morning, like RAM memory after a restart. 😅

What kind of posts or curation can exist under such conditions?

Well, I never left by slamming the door.
Ecency push notifications were one of the few things I never turned off on my phone.

The photos I took all this time were tagged in my mind as "for Hive."
Funny, right?
I didn't know when I'd return, but I was sure I would.
And that Hive would still be here --- along with my untouched assets.

And so it happened.

Now my life has stabilized --- and seems to be getting better.
I see I can write 500+ words on a Saturday without rushing anywhere --- that's a good sign.

Honestly, I have ideas for a hundred posts on all sorts of topics.
But maybe that's already too much for an Actifit comeback post. 😄

What did I bring back with me?

That's probably the key question when starting anything new.
So, I asked myself the same.

First of all --- the desire to grow and help others grow: the chain, the communities, the people in Hive.

The mechanism still works --- just like in real life.
Yes, with some glitches --- but it works!

By the way, drop me names of communities or people worth following --- I'll reward you 😉
I still love HSBI, especially after their recent updates (you get the hint).

Money.

Ah, the magic word.
All my searches and thoughts about the future always circled back to it.
To create, build, and grow --- you need funds.

I like how the second layer of Hive works now, though some old-timers still doubt it.
Yet many L2 tokens already generate stable income through liquidity pools, activities, and systems like Liotes.

Finally, I can start reinvesting into L2, HP, and other things I value here.
I'm back in Hive --- all in! 🐝

Ideas. Lots of ideas.

We need more of them!
I'm not yet sure where to start, but I'm definitely here to keep creating --- and not just content.

My own token, my own community, my own liquidity pool --- for everyone.
If even 1% of that happens, it'll be a good start.

I like more and more what I see in this buzzing Hive.
It can't go unnoticed.
It's important to take part --- and it's never too late.

Hive savings report

Money loves management.

I used to track my Hive savings in Excel. I found that old sheet, plugged in current prices --- and got a few interesting insights.

During my two-year absence, some tokens lost nearly all their value. Some held steady. And some even grew --- like LEO, LBI, and SPI.

Not sure what happened to the old EDS release --- maybe someone can tell me what can be done with it now. For the rest, I'm up to date and already taking steps.

Given how Hive works, I didn't lose anything --- maybe even came out ahead. But things could've looked even better if I'd kept my hand on the pulse.

💬 So yes --- I've returned. Maybe not with fireworks, but with steady energy and a full heart. Let's keep building, together. 🚀🐝
