As I am on Southern india trip, one of my uncle especially called me and insisted to visit Abdul Kalam home. He wanted me to bring a Pen as a memoir for him. Like him there are many people who are fond of this person. I believe there there are rare any Indian who were not familiar with Abdul Kalam. People love Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam because he was a humble scientist, a caring teacher, and the inspiring "People's President" who rose from a simple background to serve the nation. He served as India's 11th President from 2002 to 2007. He also known as Missile man of India. He helped build India's space rockets and defense missiles. With so much saying about the personality I think, it is important for anyone to visot his home once in a lifetime. On my recent visit to the South, I made sure to explore his place of my own. His home is turned into a small museum for the public.
The House of Kalam is popular because it is the childhood home and birthplace of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Visitors come to this landmark on Mosque Street to see how a man of simple origins rose to national greatness. I was thrilled to visot the place on my own. I discovered that the house is hardly 500 Mtr away from my hotel. I took a stroll in the hot afternoon to lookout for his address. After corssing frw bustling market and narrow lanes , I reached the spot. A two storey building was there at the corner of the street to welcome us.

The small staircase, at the right of the building take us to the first floor. Although no people live in this, the building has turned into a small museum. The first floor welcome us with nice quote inscribed on the wall.
"...economic prosperity and national security through technology and knowledge power for a vibrant and self reliant India."
It was a wonderful quote to begin the house tour. However, there was a check in place, photography and video Grapher is not allowed at the place. We have discovered that after clicking few of the picture inside. Displays tracking his work with ISRO and his role as the "Missile Man of India". There werr many Handwritten notes, personal items, and books, that were showcased inside the building.
I am quite fascinated by the amount of educational degree in the possession. There was a special glass display window, that showcase all his life certificates.
There were other monumental national honors, including India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, alongside the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan that was displayed in a glass chambers. I was feeling so excited to review the life cycle of a person, who rose from the ashes.

The modest building shows that extraordinary achievements can come from a simple background. Many admirers visoting the place may feel a deep sense of respect while standing where a national hero grew up. The second floor of the building has turned into a Souvenir Shop. The shop were selling books and shell-craft souvenirs.
My visit to the place was filled with inspiration and excitement. It is a place to explore the visionary scientist who grew up in a narrow lane yet went on to head the nation, reflecting the saying that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
