Description

#running #teamuk #sportstalk #proofofbrain My legs have been feeling tired this week, but I wanted to run today. We have had some rain, but it held off whilst I was out. There were just some puddles to dodge and it was cool out there.

The photo is not of my house, but I see a few are decorated.

I just did my usual loop, but was trying to focus on form and lifting my feet up more. Maybe that will work some different muscles and get easier over time.

I was also dodging kids on bikes and scooters as they went to school. I saw a couple of runners and the usual dog walkers. There were a pair of squirrels running around up at Fairfield.

Podcast listening was mostly Somewhere On Earth talking about AI toys for kids. That is scary stuff as kids will get even more attached to toys that can get very personal and there is a lack of control over the data. My kids are grown up, but the next generation will take this for granted. I just started another show from Sound On Sound talking about the Yamaha DX7 synth as I am getting into that stuff.

I will always suggest that people get into the Hive blockchain for blogging, but it carries risks. We are seeing lots more spam about 'airdrops'. There are none from Hive itself and the crooks are using hacked accounts to spread this. If they get your keys then you can lose your account and all your funds. Be careful!

We are living in the future that can bring wonderful things, but also new threats that many will not understand. There is also news of general internet issues with some company using really insecure encryption that could let crooks compromise systems. Make sure your systems are up to date.

Stay safe and run free.

Dodging kids on bikes with the DX7 podcast on, and good call flagging those airdrop scams.

  • Dodging kids on bikes while working on form and listening to a podcast about AI toys for kids is a full morning, and the spooky decorations along the route are a nice bonus this time of year.

Are you guys starting to have a problem with kids on ebikes and motorized scooters over there too? They don't pay attention at all over here. I'm surprised more of them don't get run over. Did you watch Murder at the end of the world? It was interesting, you should check it out.

  • Indeed it will get darker earlier in coming weeks, thus not much change for outdoor activity except weekends for me.

It is best to make progress gradually. Also, thank you for providing important warnings regarding Hive airdrop scams and online security.

Great work on the run despite tired legs. You cover a lot of distance over weeks and months, so the fact that your legs are only just feeling fatigued shows how conditioned and healthy you are. I think my legs would need a couple of days of recovery if I did a run. Hoping to get on more hikes before the end of the year; I really enjoy those.

AI is moving rapidly, and I have seen it in some toys in television ads; in fact, it is hard to find what isn't using AI. Rightly or wrongly, most of the newsletters I have signed up to on LinkedIn and some other professional platforms seems to utilise AI fully to the point that it is blatant. I think going forward, TV ads, Ad posters scattered around towns and even radio stations will be AI-dominant.
