Description

#running #bedfordshire #arlesey #teamuk #proofofbrain Our local pub The White Horse just reopened with new management so we musicians were back in there last night. The place was busy, but we shall have to see if they can keep that up. Pubs are closing everywhere as people stay at home more. There were some fellow Hivers there, but they are not currently active.

I did not sleep too well, but was up for my run. It was overcast, but not too cold out and so I set off for my regular intervals run up the hill. I was trying to up the cadence again and this resulted in some fairly good times around 5min/km. I shall keep this up in hope of improving my pace over longer distances. The only wildlife spotted was a black squirrel.

I had not noticed the group of trucks parked near there before. There are various businesses operating around here so they may belong to one of them.

That made me think of this song by the band I saw last weekend. They played it right at the end to round off a great set. I attempted to play this a few years ago when someone posted a tutorial.

Rock on and run free!

How weird along with everyone in the comments I didn't sleep well either? Maybe it's a change in the weather or the impending ww3 thanks to trump? 😂👍

What a great workout! Keeping a 5 min/km pace on a hilly route is an excellent mark.

  • I couldn't sleep well either as it had rained cats and dogs here, extraordinary days.

I had every intention of getting up this morning, but my wife forgot to set the alarm, so we ended up sleeping. It's okay though, I think I will be walking a lot this weekend.
