I Hit a Bump!

It has been like two-months of me driving a car. It still feels heavenly. So, it did rain here quite well. So imagine this: rainy weather, winter season, loght music and long drive. Pleasant, isn't it? But then, life as usual came up with another humbling trick i.e. the patch hole. The ugliest part is, I saw that from a mile away. Still, I ran straight into it. On serious notes, I really need glasses now. I hope thos procrastination, actually overburdened work, let me get an appointment.

Anyways today's story goes in favor of a bump!

As said earlier, I crossed paths with destiny.

Thud!

For a moment, my soul left my body, looked at the situation and decided it had better things to do. Meanwhile, my vehicle continued moving as if nothing had happened. Bloody traitor! But thank God for this traitorous behavior, because otherwise people would have been saying good stuff about me. The only difference would have been me in a good coffin.

Next ahead, I looked back at the bump. It looked back at me. Well, it did not, obviously, but you get the idea. There was a silent exchange of disrespect between two parties. My mind playing, "and the winner takes it all."

Life is full of bumps, but some of them are literally just bumps.

Now for me, it is impossible to continue the same tone for long. Yes, I am trying to learn this stuff, but it is taking some time. So an abrupt change of tone and message starts here.

Just like that experience, we spend so much time preparing for smooth roads that he smallest hurdle - the bump in our scenario - feels like a personal attack from the universe. One unexpected stuff, one failed plan, one awkward conversation (worst of all) and suddenly we are questioning our entire existence. Although, personally, I love the philosophical trauma of existential crises. Lol!

Maybe the bump was just a bump, and I am trying to make a fuss out of it. Because not every inconvenience, in life, is a lesson; and now every misfortune comes with a hidden message from the cosmos.

Sometimes, all we need to do is to slow down, check our vehicle and move on. Sometimes, we need to take stuff seriously, check rationally, and still, move on. Because moving on is the best option out there. Being stuck is not of great help.

Maybe growing up is realising that life does not owe us a smooth ride, and we do not have to tuen every wordly hurdle into a documentary about human suffering. Sometimes, it is not the material which takes the hit; it is our ego taking the biggest hit.

Anyways, good luck to my opponent - the bump.
