🎵 Paresh Pahuja — Dooron Dooron
The whole song is love. But those words from Bulleh Shah are just exceptional:
"Zehar wekh k peeta te ki peeta Ishq sooch k kita te ki kita Dil de k Dil lein di aaas rakhi Ve Bulihiya, Pyaar eho jiah kita te ki kita."
Bulleh Shah is a famous Punjabi poet.
English Translation via GPT: "What is the point of drinking poison after seeing it? What kind of love is it if you think before falling in love? If you give your heart while expecting to receive another heart in return, O Bulleh, what kind of love is that?"
Love demands just love. Asking anything in return means you are just not here for pure love. Idealistic, yes!
