Little Update - Still alive and kicking

It's been ... a while.

It will be a little longer until you will properly hear from me again, but the finish line is getting closer and closer. I am currently looking to hand in my PhD thesis some time this summer. Then the thesis defence, corrections, handing in the bound copy ...

Then we will see.

The past almost four years have been a ride. Starting a PhD in the middle of a pandemic was certainly a choice. I'm not sure if I regret it, but I will certainly need some time to rebuild my mental health after this.

I'm very much looking forward to writing more fiction again, academic papers are such a pain to get through.

And don't get me started on lab politics.

Hope to see you all again in autumn - or at least those who are still hanging out here, who still follow me and click on my posts.

Until then!

Suesa.

Glad you're alive, even more glad to see you're planning to write more here someday! I do miss your stories...

From what I have seen of the PhD process, I think it takes an entirely mythical class of individual to tolerate all that. I remain firmly impressed.

Best wishes on your thesis and defence, and I look forward to your proper return.
