I have always wanted to travel to a new place and with a new means of travelling where i will be able to explore life in another dimension. But over the years, it has just been traveling by road, and I sometimes get tired of it because the road is quite stressful and challenging, especially on the roads that are not really in good condition. But now where the difference lies is trying a new mode of transportation, which is by train. A railway is one of the slower means of transportation and yet a faster means because it is fast and convenient to use.

I had a concert in Lagos from Abeokuta, and I was told that I would be traveling through it with the train. At first, it felt weird to me, and on the other hand, I was a bit happy because what I was expecting to happen had eventually happened. I accepted the offer to travel by train. So another thing is that I have to book the train ticket ahead, and I have to ensure that I do not miss the assigned time for the flight. I first wondered if I was ever going to sleep past the normal time scheduled for the train. But I kept that in mind, and I ensured that I did everything necessary for me to do before the actual time of the flight.

The train was to take off at exactly 5.30pm because it was an evening trip. Once it was getting close to the time, I moved out and boarded a bike instead of a bus because the bike would be faster and I would not miss my flight. I got to the train station exactly at 5.20pm, and I was checked in. Immediately I got to the waiting hall; we were told that there was a delay and the train wouldn't come on time till 6pm. I was happy that I would be able to rest before the arrival of the train. But what baffles me is that, immediately at 6pm, the train came and we had to move in.

We got to our destination exactly at 7pm, which is the train station Alagbado. From there, we took a bike to drop us at the next destination, both my friends and I. After a long journey, we eventually got to our final destination before 8 pm, and we were able to relax and rest our heads before the program began. On Friday night, I was told to book my train ticket down again on Monday, as the ticket would have been sold off before Monday morning for my departure.
After booking the train, we all left very early in the morning to catchbour flight back to our destination after we have had fun throughout the weekend. My joy about the travelling was just for the fact that I travelled with a train, and I feel so comfortable and relaxed trying something new. Now I don't have to sit in the bus for so long because I want to travel, but just to get a train ticket on time and travel with the train with ease.
