I've come to the realization that I have an inner strength that I didn't give myself credit for, as I reflect on each and every gratitude blog that I've posted. Without going into too much detail, I'm remembering quite a few times that I had a power to overcome some major obstacles that would leave many in a withering pile of despair or worse. I was fortunate to have support from geniune friends and sometimes family but for the most part I conquered those trials on my own despite the fact that many people I have known weren't so lucky.
My next personal challenge is to try and get my story out there for someone that may need to hear it. This would be a huge deal since it's very difficult to lay all the secrets and insecurities bare for the world to see and judge. I'm going to take my time with this one and hopefully I'll know when I'm truly ready. Until then I will try and be that friend or family member who needs the support I was given when I needed it most.
