To put it bluntly, most people are lazy, so someone willing to work like they have ADHD—or like a workaholic—comes across as a "bit of an insensitive jerk." Is that a bad thing? No, but their laziness often blocks others' paths instead of making way for them. Because they begrudge the time it takes.

Filming wrapped up in late July, and they started rendering the main effects a while back (I don't have official confirmation, of course, but this movie has been "brewing" in the producers' minds for a good few years now; for CGI-heavy films, the effects work begins long before contracts are even signed—let alone filming starts—because good CGI takes time, just like complex recipes). The plot description worries me, and I hope it's just an oversimplification... though I know, unfortunately, that it isn't. Sigh, I thought I’d get a beautiful adaptation of the beginning of the One Year War, or at least a segment of it, but instead, we’re getting a space romance... In the original, Amuro Ray and Char Aznable clashed their "swords," demonstrating the power of MASCULINE love, whereas here we’ll just get Sweeney’s boobs...

Zdjęcia skończyły się pod koniec lipca, a główne efekty zaczęto renderować jakiś czas temu (potwierdzenia oczywiście nie znam, ale ten film "mieli się" w głowach producentów od dobrych paru lat, a efekty do filmów stawiających na CGI powstają na długo przed podpisaniem kontraktów, o rozpoczęciu zdjęć nie wspominając - dobre CGI wymaga czasu, jak skomplikowane przepisy kucharskie). Niepokoi mnie opis fabuły i mam nadzieję, że to tylko uproszczenie... Wiem niestety że tak nie jest. Ech, myślałem że dostanę piękną adaptację początku Wojny Jednorocznej lub jakiś jej fragment, a tu będzie romans w kosmosie... W oryginale Amuro Ray i Char Aznable zderzali się swoimi "mieczami" pokazując potęgę MĘSKIEJ miłości, a tu będą cycki Sweeney...
