How could I say no to a kitty eagerly running before me, wanting to join me on an adventure?
So my kitty Coco eagerly followed me to the park today to collect more of those conkers before they disappear.
As we passed through the busier area, where cars were driving by, Coco followed me from the other side of the wall. Then, as soon as we reached a quieter spot, she jumped onto the wall and walked alongside me.
Then we reached the park. See this huge conker tree? That's my favourite tree!
The ground underneath is covered with conkers.
As I started picking conkers, Coco wrapped her tail around my basket, as she usually does. She loves staying close to it. I think it gives her a sense of comfort, especially in unfamiliar places.
As I got further into my collecting, Coco became more comfortable. She watched me dropping each conker into the basket and seemed very entertained.
Then she started getting inquisitive about the things around her.
She explored the things children play with and walked back and forth along a wooden play log.
Taking in her surroundings.
Then came the stretching.
and grooming.
I filled the basket and headed back.
Coco followed me all the way, keeping her eyes fixed on me. And of course, she got a nice little treat afterwards.
It was such a pleasure going outdoor with her.
A lovely little outing for both of us!
