The rains that began woke up the sleeping mushrooms. They appear in the most unexpected months. The ones in the photos, my dog Bilbo and I found right along the road.
I don't go far into the woods because of the risk of hitting a mine. But there are a lot of such desperate people. I don't know what they argue about it. Probably mushroom excitement means more to them than safety.
