Hello everyone and to the #theanimerealm community ❤️, I hope you are all well and had a 🌲MERRY CHRISTMAS🌲... I've been a bit absent these past few days, but I'll share more details about that later.
Today I'll talk about an anime that surprised me a lot (and I say this because months before its release I saw everywhere that it was one of the most anticipated anime because it's one of those that "purifies the soul" and "one more reason to believe in love"), this anime will not only be a school romance story, but it will touch on certain important themes that happen in everyday life.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

RINTARO TSUMUGI - DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER (I think this phrase fits him perfectly):
At first glance, he has a serious appearance with a cold expression to those who don't know him, and most of those people tend to judge and point him out as if he were someone troublesome or intimidating. However, as we get to know him throughout the story, we are surprised to find that he is a very kind, calm, and deeply considerate person.
This is one of the characters (who, in my opinion) we'll take a little more seriously, as we'll see how he deals with being constantly misunderstood. He's an introvert who doesn't seek attention, and even though it's not his fault... there will be times when he feels bad about being judged solely on his appearance.
KAORUKO WAGURI - A PURE LIGHT (AND A LOVER OF SWEETS):
She is a very sweet, sincere, and sometimes shy person. Her connection with Rintaro stems not from superficial curiosity, but from genuine empathy. She is a character who doesn't need many words to convey warmth, as her mere presence brings calm (especially to Rintaro).
She has a special sensitivity to perceive what people are really like beyond their appearance, as well as having the ability to defend her ideals and the people she considers special (which helps her to have a very strong and genuine bond with some people).
A LITTLE CONTEXT - THE SCHOOL RIVALRY:
In this story, we'll learn a little more about the protagonists and the context in which they find themselves... But one of the most important elements of the anime is the rivalry between the two schools:
Chidori High School (better known as "The School for Idiots") and Kikyo Girls' High School (known as "The Prestigious School for Women"). This isn't just about academic competition (something we'll also see in the difference in the quality of education, among other details...), but also about a clash of social stigmas, where one school is looked down upon for being feared and the other for being refined and superior.
This conflict serves as a reflection of how collective prejudices influence personal relationships. Throughout the story, many characters tend to judge without knowing, and one of the consequences we'll observe is how Rintaro is directly affected by the treatment he receives. This context is essential to keep in mind, especially to understand the tensions that will arise later and the significance of each step the protagonists take.
BUT ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL: despite this "conflict," it won't prevent beautiful friendships from forming between students from both schools... and I think that's what truly defines a good friendship: not judging people without knowing them.
A BOND BUILT WITH SMALL GESTURES:
The relationship between Rintarou and Kaoruko strengthens organically and genuinely. There are no forced dramas or plot twists; this story features heartfelt conversations, small acts that mean a great deal (especially coming from someone we care about deeply), and glances that speak louder than words.
Despite the context in which they find themselves (the rivalry between schools, the treatment Rintaro receives without being at fault, among other things), they learn to communicate better, to trust, and above all to heal the insecurities or details that we may carry in our daily lives.
Can you imagine meeting someone when you least expect it and spending days looking for them (unsuccessfully), only to find them again when you least expect it, making all the wait worthwhile? 💞 - I think you'll understand this question much better when you finish watching this anime.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this anime. Despite not having high expectations, as I mentioned at the beginning, I found it to be a very honest, heartwarming work with profoundly human emotions. I really enjoyed the portrayal of each emotion, the focus on personal growth, and the importance of looking beyond appearances. I think this anime is ideal for those who enjoy a peaceful story, wholesome romance, and narratives that unfold gradually. So, if you're looking for something that will bring you peace and reflection, you should definitely give this anime a try.

El día de hoy les hablaré de un anime que me sorprendió mucho (Y digo esto ya que meses antes de su estreno veía en todos lados que era uno de los animes más esperados ya que son de esos que "purifican el alma" y "una razón más para creer en el amor"), este anime no será solo una historia de romance escolar, sino que tocará ciertos temas importantes que suceden en el día a día.

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:
Cuando el intimidante Rintaro conoce a la tierna Kaoruko, nace una inesperada relación cercana. Solo hay un pequeño problema: las escuelas a las que van son archienemigas. - Sinopsis extraída de Netflix.
RINTARO TSUMUGI - NO JUZGAR A UN LIBRO POR SU PORTADA (Creo que esta frase le queda perfectamente a él):
A primera vista tiene una apariencia seria con una expresión fría para quienes no lo conozcan y según la mayoría de esas personas tienen a juzgarlo y señalarlo como si fuera alguien problemático o intimidante. Sin embargo, al conocerlo mientras avanza la historia, nos daremos con la sorpresa que es una persona muy amable, tranquila y profundamente considerada con los demás.
Este es uno de los personajes (que en mi opinión) le tendremos un poco más de consideración ya que veremos cómo lidia con el hecho de ser constantemente malinterpretado. Es una persona introvertida que no busca llamar la atención y a pesar de que no sea su culpa... habrán momentos en los que se sienta mal el hecho de ser juzgado solo por su apariencia.
KAORUKO WAGURI - UNA LUZ PURA (Y AMANTE DE LOS POSTRECITOS):
Ella es una persona muy dulce, sincera y en ocasiones algo tímida. La forma de conocer a Rintaro no nace de la curiosidad superficial, sino de una empatía genuina. Ella será un personaje que no necesitará de muchas palabras para transmitir calidez, ya que con su sola presencia genera calma (Sobre todo a Rintaro).
Tiene una sensibilidad especial para percibir cómo son realmente las personas más allá de su apariencia, al igual de tener la capacidad de defender sus ideales y a las personas que ella considera especiales (Lo cual le ayuda a tener un vínculo muy sólido y genuino con algunas personas).
UN POCO DE CONTEXTO - LA RIVALIDAD ENTRE ESCUELAS:
En esta historia conoceremos un poco más de los protagonistas y el contexto en el que se encuentran... Pero uno de los elementos más importantes del anime es la rivalidad entre ambas escuelas:
El instituto Chidori (Más conocido como "La escuela de idiotas") y El Instituto femenino Kikyo (Conocido como "La escuela prestigiosa para mujeres"). Aquí no solo se tratará de una competencia académica (Cosa que también observaremos el la diferencia en la calidad de educación, entre otros detalles...), sino de un choque de estigmas sociales, de que una escuela es mal vista por ser temida y otra escuela por ser muy refinada y superior.
Este conflicto sirve como reflejo de cómo los prejuicios colectivos influyen en las relaciones personales, a lo largo de la historia muchos personajes tienden a juzgar sin conocer, y una de las consecuencias que observaremos es como Rintaro es afectado directamente por el trato que recibe. Este contexto es esencial tenerlo en cuenta y sobre todo para entender las tensiones que aparecerán más adelante y el valor que tiene cada paso que dan los protagonistas.
PERO UN DETALLE MUY IMPORTANTE, a pesar de este "conflicto", no evitará que se establezcan lindas amistades estudiantes de ambas escuelas... y creo que eso es lo que realmente define una buena amistad, donde no se debe juzgar a las personas sin conocerlas.
UN VÍNCULO QUE SE CONSTRUYE CON PEQUEÑOS GESTOS:
La relación entre Rintarou y Kaoruko se fortalece de una manera orgánica y genuina. No encontraremos dramas ni giros forzados, en esta historia encontraremos conversaciones sinceras, pequeños actos que valen mucho (Sobre todo si viene de una persona que apreciamos mucho) y miradas que dirán mucho más que mil palabras.
A pesar del contexto en el que se pueden encontrar (La rivalidad entre colegios, el trato que recibe Rintaro sin tener culpa alguna, entre otras cosas), ellos aprenden a comunicarse mejor, a confiar y sobre todo a sanar las inseguridades o detalles que podemos arrastrar en nuestro día a día.
¿Se imaginan conocer a alguien en el momento menos esperado y pasar días buscándolo (Sin éxito), solo para reencontrarlo cuando menos lo creías, haciendo que toda la espera valiera la pena? 💞- Creo que esta pregunta la entenderán mucho cuando terminen de ver este anime.
Para finalizar, recomiendo mucho este anime ya que a pesar de no tener muchas expectativas como les comenté en un inicio, me pareció una obra muy honesta, cálida y con emociones profundamente humanas. Me gustó mucho la representación de cada emoción, la concentración en el crecimiento personal y en la importancia de mirar más allá de las apariencias. Creo que este anime es ideal para quienes disfrutan de una historia tranquila, romance sano y narrativas que van floreciendo poco a poco. Así que si buscan algo que los haga sentir en paz y reflexionar, deberían darle una oportunidad a este anime.
