My Fourth Hive Power-Up Day (HPUD) - 1st October!

September was a crazy month, all new and insane levels of busyment and many distractions, somehow we find ourselves at the start of October? I mean I've been that busy that I'm only getting around to posting about the HPUD that I took part in the day after it happened lol! HPUD-202610

Okay, so this time around we did something a little different. Instead of using the standard 50%/50% split decided to chase the rainbow on the monthly challenge, a power-up or a post each day, making use of the 100% HP posting mechanism to try and fulfill the challenge.

Things got off to a great start but unfortunately after mid month things fell by the wayside, like I said.. busy! lol. It's genuinely not as easy as you think to keep either daily Staking/HP actions of posts ticking over. That being said will be taking a swing at it in October again, fingers crossed.

So, because I was chasing multiple challenges at the same time I didn't have the same stash of vanilla Hive sitting around to power up yesterday at the end of the month, but I couldn't let the opportunity for a Hive Buzz Badge sail by unanswered, yes it's a small bee, but every bee counts!.. Badge Notification

Something I am happy about is the consistency, that's the real goal!

Progress..

This time around it's a minimum Power-Up of 10 HP.

But that isn't the full story, in order to properly assess the Power-Up including mid month and 100% posts we need to do some quick maths.

My last post detailed a wallet of 625 HP Powered-Up, and after this month we are now sitting on the princely sum of 885 HP so allowing for a little staking interest, still easily a 250 HP gain, woo!

Conclusions..

Decided to roll the dice again this month and go after a monthly badge, lets see if it can be done!? Also, very likely to smash through the 1000 HP ceiling before 1st November, so might well be another double celebration.. ok, lets go! 😇

    Hivepower is definitely your superpower here. Well done on some fabulous progress even though your general 'state of busyment' has been a busy challenging one.

    Small goals are worthy ones and that little dopamine hit as another domino falls, is a little addictive 😁 I don't actually see this as a small goal though, I think it is good solid growth.

    I have never taken a penny off chain from my Hive activity (although each persons stake is theirs to do with what they wish) except to buy things in a couple of the games built on our blockchain. I like to support that kind of effort to bring in users.

    I do however like to measure the small growth much as I would XP in a game, I think a little gamification of your progress can make it extra fun.

    The connections and real friendships made along the way are the ultimate prize though.
