Lets Set The Scene
It's been a long week, have put a real shift in at work. There were unexpected problems but we all pulled together to get it sorted. It would have been nice it there had been a few less bumps in the road but no real issue with doing a few days proper graft, good for the body, good for the soul.
Just some light frustration.
Mid week, the washing machine in the kitchen that's been sounding like a WW2 spitfire taking off, during it's spin cycle, finally decides to give up the ghost.
Again this is a little frustrating but the length of time it's been pressed into service it owes me nothing, ce la vie.
I've finally dragged everything over the finish line at work, that is actually important, and it's finally time to sit down and start to unwind, crack open a beer and mentally put the world to rights.
Then comes the tap on the shoulder..
Swiftly followed by a request to get straight back up again and go down to the Supermarket to pick up a selection of fresh goods as the fridge is looking a little bare.
Yes I'm tired, yes I've been burning the candle at both ends all week, but food is food and we need it so the frustration is growing but it is what it is, time to go buy some groceries
The Straw That Broke The Camels Back
I arrive into Sainsburys with a game plan to pick up the 'fresh stuff' requested as quickly as possible with no hassle and then sail home real quick (to get my bum back on that seat and that beer in hand), but what am I greeted with as I walk through the supermarket door..
Que some 'mild infuriation' - half the shelves have nothing on them or are closed down for some bizarre reason!? 😐
